Geoinformation web system for assessing the state of carpathian forest ecosystems using remote sensing data
    (2026-04-26) Tulashvili, Yurii; Lukyanchuk, Yuri
The article addresses the pressing issue of developing modern software tools for automated monitoring of forest ecosystem dynamics in the Ukrainian Carpathians. It is emphasized that traditional forest inventory approaches, based on periodic field expeditions, are insufficiently responsive and economically burdensome, particularly in complex mountainous terrain. The feasibility of integrating Earth remote sensing (ERS) technologies and geographic information systems (GIS) into forestry practices is substantiated. The research aims to develop a web-based information system capable of processing satellite imagery (notably Sentinel-2), calculating spectral vegetation indices (NDVI), and visualizing analytical results through interactive cartographic layers. The paper presents the architecture of the proposed solution, which is grounded in a microservice approach utilizing the FastAPI framework, the PostgreSQL/PostGIS spatial database, and the Leaflet mapping library. The process of designing the logical geodatabase model, ensuring efficient storage of both vector objects (forest compartments and subcompartments) and raster image metadata, is described in detail. The practical implementation of the application’s server-side components is showcased, including mechanisms for asynchronous request handling, JWT authentication, and NDVI calculation algorithms employing the Rasterio and NumPy libraries. The section on specialized calculations provides a comparative performance analysis of spatial SQL queries with and without GiST indexing, confirming a speed enhancement exceeding 100 times. Furthermore, a validation of the vegetation index calculation accuracy was conducted by comparing results with ground-based spectrometry data. It has been established that deploying the developed system reduces the time required for forest area monitoring by a factor of 5–7 compared to traditional ground survey methods, thereby demonstrating the high economic and environmental efficiency of the proposed approach.

Orchestrating honeypot deployment in lightweight container platforms to improve security
    (2025-02-01) Tulashvili, Yurii; Kosheliuk, Viktor
A significant evolution has occurred in the architectural and infrastructural domains of web applications over the past several years. Monolithic systems are gradually being superseded by microservices-based architectures, which are now considered the de facto standard for web application development owing to their inherent portability, scalability, and ease of deployment. Concurrently, the prevalence of this architecture has rendered it susceptible to specialized cyberattacks. While honeypots have proven effective in the past for gathering real-world attack data and uncovering attacker methods, their growing popularity has made them a specific target for cyberattacks. Traditional honeypots lack the flexibility of microservices architecture. Honeypots have proven effective in gathering authentic attack data and analyzing attacker tactics. The core idea that honey traps help identify malicious packets with minimal effort to remove incorrect alerts is preserved. In addition to identifying and documenting specific attack methods used by intruders, this system helps thwart attacks by creating realistic simulations of the actual systems and applications within the network. This effectively slows down and confuses attackers by making it difficult for them to gain access to real devices. This paper presents a groundbreaking approach to honeypot management within cybersecurity, utilizing virtual clusters and a microservice architecture to significantly improve the effectiveness of threat detection. To conduct our research, we initially surveyed the internet to pinpoint container and container management systems operating on standard ports that might be susceptible to attacks. The monitoring of the instrumented approach generated a massive dataset, enabling researchers to make significant inferences about the behavior and goals of malevolent users. We advocate for the implementation of honeypots on lightweight distribution orchestration tools installed on Ubuntu servers, situated behind a meticulously crafted gateway and operating on standard port configurations. In light of the scan outcomes, we recommend the deployment of honeypot orchestration on streamlined distributions. To better protect your systems based on our scan results, we recommend implementing honeypot orchestration for easier deployment and management. By deploying honeypots on lightweight operating systems, you can optimize resource usage and improve performance while maintaining essential capabilities. These capabilities include monitoring attack patternson vulnerable systems and analyzing the security measures implemented by those responsible for managing exposed systems.

3D Model Quality Assessment Algorithm for Additive Manufacturing
(2024-10-27) Marchuk, Viktor; Tulashvili, Yurii; Lukianchuk, Iurii
In modern production, problems arise when modeling 3D objects using the FDM method. Among the common mistakes are insufficient attention to the geometry of the object, insufficient calculation of the thickness of the walls and details. An algorithm for analyzing the manufacturability of parts before the start of production can help avoid many problems. Determining the optimal print direction, support placement, and heat distribution are key steps that help ensure the highest manufacturing quality. It is also important to emphasize the use of mathematical calculations during design. Calculating the amount of material required, optimizing geometry to minimize weight and maximize strength are just a few examples of how math can facilitate the process. Careful advance planning and the use of advanced analytical methods can significantly improve product quality and reduce production errors. Recommendations provided at various stages of design and production create an opportunity for engineers to avoid common problems and ensure the successful implementation of projects in the field of additive manufacturing.

Tulashvili YuriHumanization of society through integration and inclusive education: Challenges and prospects for individuals with visual impairments in Ukraine. Forum for Education Studies 2024, 2(3), 279.
    (2024-04-27) Tulashvili, Yurii
The new concept of humanizing society, founded on the priority of personality development through socialization processes, opens new perspectives for citizens with visual impairments in Ukrainian society. The article analyzes the issue of social adaptation of this category of people through inclusive education, which encompasses preschool, general, and vocational training. The historical, philosophical, psychological, and methodological aspects of implementing an integrative approach to inclusive education for visually impaired individuals are considered. The study emphasizes the importance of the “principle of equal opportunities” in education for children and youth with functional limitations, focusing on the integration of such individuals into the general educational process. It underscores the need for a societal attitude shift towards children with special educational needs and the support for the idea of inclusion at the state level, involving school administrators, educational staff, parents, and other participants in the educational process. The psychological and pedagogical support of children with visual impairments within the context of inclusive education, playing a key role in the development of Ukraine’s modern educational system, is distinguished by its multidisciplinary approach. This support ensures the preparation and psychological readiness of all participants in the educational process for cooperation with children with health issues and includes the prevention and correction of secondary developmental deviations in such children. Special attention is paid to the role of social and pedagogical work in the development of a child with disabilities in accordance with the general patterns of child development, considering secondary symptoms related to abnormal social development. The article investigates the main approaches to implementing inclusive education in the educational space of Ukraine. The author examines the normative legal acts concerning the integration of people with special needs and their impact on the development of democracy. Additionally, an overview of the experience of organizing education for people with visual impairments in Ukraine and abroad is provided. The authors of the article highlight the need for support of regional rehabilitation and social protection programs for people with visual impairments, the creation of scientific-methodological resource centers for inclusive education, and the integration of such children into general education institutions. The conclusions of the study underline that addressing issues of accessibility, inclusion, and humanization of societal relations towards visually impaired individuals will contribute to their successful socialization and professional training, reflecting modern approaches to education and vocational training for blind and visually impaired individuals. The importance and prospects of implementing inclusive education in Ukraine’s educational space are demonstrated and significant for educators, lecturers, and students of pedagogical and technical universities, as well as education and science professionals.
