Item type:Наукова стаття, Economic activity of the rural population: a case study of Ukraine(2022) Shubalyi, Oleksandr; Liashenko, Oksana; Rud, Nadia; Shubala, Iryna; Mylko, Inna; Mykhalchynets, NataliiaIn the article determined and substantiated that the public opinion that the residents of rural areas, due to less strict observance of the regime of quarantine COVID restrictions on economic activity, lower population density in the settlement network, and technological features of agriculture, suffered smaller losses in terms of employment and income than other strata, turned out to be too optimistic. According to the results of the study, social alienation is increasing as a result of the deterioration of the entire spectrum of social and labour relations. Further research on the chosen subject may be related to strengthening the institutional capacity and financial self-sufficiency of communities due to the decentralization of powers and resources, the transition to a two-level model of interbudgetary relations, the development of local self-government and changes in the administrative territorial system, overcoming the social alienation of self-employed persons, provision of force majeure in circumstances similar to the COVID pandemic, economic access to food, health care services, education, culture, transport, and digital infrastructure.Item type:Наукова стаття, Simulation of socio-economic security of rural areas in the conditions of sustainable development: a case study of Ukraine(2023) Shubalyi, Oleksandr; Shved, Alina; Shmatkovska, Tetiana; Rogach, Svitlana; Kupyra, Myroslava; Dobryanskyy, Oleg; Voichuk, MaksymIn the article we proved that, the need to take into account the identified indicators of social tension and indicators of the level of social and economic security in rural areas becomes especially relevant for the formation and implementation of sustainable development programs. Since the resource provision of programs to support the development of rural areas is limited and in the process of their implementation questions will arise regarding the priority of financing the needs of this or that region or community, the results of modeling the indicators of dynamics and the state of socio-economic security can provide an answer to the question of specifying the process of identifying the region, which most needs the implementation of appropriate measures to stabilize the situation and bring it to a qualitatively higher level.Item type:Наукова стаття, Analysis of the socio-demographic state of rural areas in the system of their sustainable development: a case study of Ukraine(2021-12-22) Dziamulych, Mykola; Petrukha, Serhiy; Yakubiv, Valentyna; Zhuk, Oksana; Maiboroda, Oksana; Tesliuk, Sofia; Kolosok, AndriiIn the article we have substantiated and conducted statistically assess the impact of the final results of economic activity on the current socio-demographic situation of rural areas in Ukraine. Based on the results of determining the influence of conditioned factors on the level of labour migration of the rural population in Ukraine, we have developed a regression equation. Also, based on the results of the study, we built two cartograms, comparison of which provides an opportunity to assess the dynamics of the formation of the total fertility rate in rural areas (per 1 woman) for 2016 – 2020. We built a cartogram that visualizes the results of grouping regions of Ukraine by natural increase, decrease population in rural areas of Ukraine. The results of our study provide an opportunity to confirm that in the context of Ukraine’s official accession to the European Union and the serious challenges of today, the Ukrainian state should perform the functions of regulating the most important spheres of society in general and rural areas in particular. The task of increasing the employment of the rural population should be raised to the level of state priorities, which would provide an opportunity to create new jobs for the rural population in industries that can provide the maximum competitive effect.Item type:Наукова стаття, Analysis of modern trends in labour market transformation in Ukraine(2024-08-08) Mazniev, Ievgen; Bielousov, Yaroslav; Luchechko, Yurii; Rozbytskyi, Mykhailo; Kolosok, Andrii; Shepelenko, Svitlana; Dziamulych, MykolaThe article examines the main aspects of transforming the labor market in Ukraine in the context of the destructive impact of the war and the associated economic instability. The primary factors affecting the labor market, such as migration processes, changes in the structure of employment, digitization of the economy, and the introduction of the latest technologies, are considered. The consequences of military operations on the transformation of the labor market are analyzed. Current trends in the demand for new professions, demographic changes, and the impact of state regulatory policy on employment support are explored. The prospects for developing the labor market in the context of Ukraine's European integration and the potential for increasing the competitiveness of Ukrainian workers in the European labor market are determined. The necessity of enhancing the adaptability of the workforce to modern challenges and optimizing state employment programs to ensure sustainable economic development of the country in the future has been demonstrated.
