Item type:Наукова стаття, Legal regulation of environmental protection and climate change mitigation to ensure sustainable economic development(2024) Zemko, AllaIn view of the globalisation of sustainable development and environmental protection, the optimization of the legal regulation mechanism in the field of environmental protection, based on the principles of public administration and the priority of greening all spheres of life, is an urgent issue nowadays. The purpose of the academic paper is to analyse the issues of legal regulation of Ukraine’s “green” course development, to highlight the major trends and to identify promising areas for optimizing legal regulation in the area under study. It has been proven that the conceptual fundamentals of the administrative and legal mechanism for achieving the goals of sustainable environmental development are positioned in the functionality of elaboration and practical implementation of regulations on environmental issues on the basis of publicity of publicity and transparency, accompanied by the intensification of digitalization processes. The practical role of the research results is seen in the possibility of their use as recommendations for optimizing the legal support of Ukraine’s environmental policy in terms of adaptation of Ukraine’s national legislation to the European Green Deal.Item type:Наукова стаття, Designing digital higher education environments for information and digital competence development(2026) Chub, Kostiantyn; Verbovskyi, Igor; Holieva, Mariia; Korobchuk, Tetiana; Stoliarova,TetianaThe article develops the content and justifies the features of professional training for specialists by creating a digital higher-education environment to develop their information and digital competence. The factors most influencing a student's level of information and digital competence are identified. The content of the digital environment of higher education is substantiated. The core idea of the experimental study is that our system for training future specialists in higher education, by creating a digital environment to develop students' information and digital competence, is an effective means of preparing competitive specialists. We, based on statistical analysis, have proven that the developed system of training future specialists of higher education by creating a digital environment for the formation of information and digital competence of students makes it possible to form a value component, a technological component, an activity component, and a reflexive component of the specified competence of future specialists. Thus, our experiment confirmed the study's hypothesis and demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed system in developing the information and digital competence of future specialists.Item type:Наукова стаття, Structural and risk-oriented determinants of the liquidity coverage ratio in the mechanism for ensuring the stability of the banking system of Ukraine(2026-06-10) Dziamulych, Mykola; Krupka, Mykhailo; Markiv, Halyna; Chyzh, Nataliia; Martyniuk, Rostyslav; Kotur, AndriyThe purpose of this study is to develop a dynamic econometric model for assessing the impact of structural, risk-oriented, and monetary factors on the formation of the Liquidity Coverage Ratio of the banking system of Ukraine under conditions of transformational shocks and structural restructuring of the financial sector. The main findings indicate that the level of the LCR is shaped by the configuration of the resource base, the structure of assets, the quality of the loan portfolio, the degree of capitalization, and the parameters of monetary policy. The principal conclusions suggest that the stability of the banking system is determined not by the mere maximization of liquidity per se, but by the structural optimization of balance sheet parameters within a controlled risk environment.Item type:Наукова стаття, Analysis of modern trends in labour market transformation in Ukraine(2024-08-08) Mazniev, Ievgen; Bielousov, Yaroslav; Luchechko, Yurii; Rozbytskyi, Mykhailo; Kolosok, Andrii; Shepelenko, Svitlana; Dziamulych, MykolaThe article examines the main aspects of transforming the labor market in Ukraine in the context of the destructive impact of the war and the associated economic instability. The primary factors affecting the labor market, such as migration processes, changes in the structure of employment, digitization of the economy, and the introduction of the latest technologies, are considered. The consequences of military operations on the transformation of the labor market are analyzed. Current trends in the demand for new professions, demographic changes, and the impact of state regulatory policy on employment support are explored. The prospects for developing the labor market in the context of Ukraine's European integration and the potential for increasing the competitiveness of Ukrainian workers in the European labor market are determined. The necessity of enhancing the adaptability of the workforce to modern challenges and optimizing state employment programs to ensure sustainable economic development of the country in the future has been demonstrated.Item type:Наукова стаття, Profitability management of enterprises in the agricultural sector of Ukraine: analysis of development trends and modelling(2024-12-21) Dziamulych, Mykola; Shulha, Olha; Havadzyn, Nataliia; Sysoiev, Oleksii; Grytsyna, Oksana; Sholudko, Olsana; Rogach, SvitlanaThe article analyses trends in the formation of profitability of enterprises in the agricultural sector of Ukraine in the studied period, which made it possible to identify certain regularities and outline recommendations. The results of the economic-mathematical modelling of the return on equity of enterprises in the agricultural sector of Ukraine were developed and presented. Based on the evaluation and analysis of the developed models, recommendations are proposed for increasing the profitability of enterprises in the agricultural sector of Ukraine, taking into account modern challenges and prospects. In particular, several measures were proposed to help improve the profitability of Ukrainian farm producers` capital. Among them, it is advisable to highlight the reduction of the financial dependence of agricultural enterprises in terms of reducing the use of credit resources with a simultaneous increase in state support for the farm sector, as well as the further consideration of risk reduction factors during the formation of the commodity policy of agricultural enterprises.Item type:Наукова стаття, Institutional evolution of international human rights protection mechanisms in the context of increasing global instability(2026) Visyn, Valentyn; Anishchuk, Igor; Zemko, Alla; Hanych, Olga; Pundor, YuliiaThe article examines the institutional evolution of international human rights protection mechanisms in the context of increasing global instability. It is substantiated that the international human rights regime has evolved from predominantly declarative legal norms to a complex multilevel institutional system that integrates universal, regional, and national mechanisms for the protection of human rights. The effectiveness of international human rights institutions is determined by the institutional capacity to ensure their implementation. The findings indicate the need to strengthen coordination among different levels of the international human rights protection system and to enhance its adaptability to emerging global risks.Item type:Наукова стаття, Мediation in criminal processes in Ukraine(2024) Visyn, Valentyn; Didenko, Yevhenii; Karpinska, Nataliia; Anishchuk, Viktoriia; Pundor, Yuliia; Riabykh, NataliiaThe article examines the essence and significance of mediation in the criminal process of Ukraine. The peculiarities of using mediation to resolve conflicts between parties involved in a crime are analyzed. The role of the mediator in facilitating the achievement of a compromise and restoration of cooperation between the participants of the process is investigated. Special attention is paid to the advantages of mediation compared to traditional court procedures. The article examines the potential of mediation to reduce the burden on the judicial system and improve the satisfaction of the needs of the participants in the criminal process. It has been proven that in modern Ukrainian criminal justice, mediation is an essential element of alternative conflict resolution. The article considers the role of mediation in criminal cases and investigates its influence on improving the efficiency of justice. Mediation facilitates mutual understanding between parties, reducing court cases and restoring harmony in society. The peculiarities of the use of currency and financial instruments by commercial banks of Ukraine in the conditions of destabilization of the banking sector due to the destructive influence of Russian aggression are considered. The dynamics of bank clients’ transactions with foreign currency and the volume of interventions of the National Bank of Ukraine in the foreign exchange market since the beginning of the war were studied. The problems of commercial banks with attracting deposits to ensure the efficiency of operational activities are identified. An analysis of the dynamics of the index of rates for deposits of individuals, as well as the yield of bonds of the domestic state loan, as the main instruments for attracting funds in Ukraine’s financial market, was carried out.Item type:Наукова стаття, SOCIAL EFFECTS OF GLOBAL FINANCIAL TURBULENCE: CHALLENGES FOR DEVELOPING COUNTRIES(Чайки: ФІНТЕХАЛЬЯНС, 2026) Baula, Olena; Khomanets, Volodymyr; Urban, Oksana; Tovt, Yuri; Hrachevska, Tamila; Bohorodytska, AnnaDuring 2020–2024, developing countries faced global financial turbulence caused by a cascade of exogenous shocks (COVID-19 pandemic, geopolitical crises, inflationary pressure), leading to a significant deterioration in social indicators and revealing an asymmetry of vulnerability compared to advanced economies. The purpose of the study is to assess the social effects of these crises, identify mechanisms that amplify or miti-gate them in developing countries, and develop social protection tools to minimize long-term consequences for human capital, poverty, and inequality. The article systematizes the main social consequences of global crises for developing countries. Analysis of differences in social responses and the influence of crisis type demonstrated higher vulnerability of developing economies due to limited fiscal space and weak protective institutions: pandemic shocks cause rapid increases in poverty and unemployment, debt/currency crises lead to prolonged deepening of inequality, while polycrises (with a geopolitical component) result in the most persistent losses accompanied by erosion of human capital. A comparative analysis was conducted of the impact of 2020–2024 shocks on poverty, unemployment, and Gini index indicators in advanced and developing countries, evaluating dynamics, growth rates, pre-and post-crisis averages, and a composite social vulnerability index. This confirmed the moderating role of social expenditures. A combination of methods was applied: content analysis and statistical data processing; descriptive, comparative, and index analysis; system-structural modeling; systemic and interdisciplinary approaches. A mechanism is proposed for strengthening global support instruments through the integration of financial resources and institutional-operational components to reduce long-term losses.
