Item type:Наукова стаття, Economic activity of the rural population: a case study of Ukraine(2022) Shubalyi, Oleksandr; Liashenko, Oksana; Rud, Nadia; Shubala, Iryna; Mylko, Inna; Mykhalchynets, NataliiaIn the article determined and substantiated that the public opinion that the residents of rural areas, due to less strict observance of the regime of quarantine COVID restrictions on economic activity, lower population density in the settlement network, and technological features of agriculture, suffered smaller losses in terms of employment and income than other strata, turned out to be too optimistic. According to the results of the study, social alienation is increasing as a result of the deterioration of the entire spectrum of social and labour relations. Further research on the chosen subject may be related to strengthening the institutional capacity and financial self-sufficiency of communities due to the decentralization of powers and resources, the transition to a two-level model of interbudgetary relations, the development of local self-government and changes in the administrative territorial system, overcoming the social alienation of self-employed persons, provision of force majeure in circumstances similar to the COVID pandemic, economic access to food, health care services, education, culture, transport, and digital infrastructure.Item type:Наукова стаття, Analysis of investment efficiency in the agricultural sector of Ukraine on the basis of sustainable development(2022-10-21) Shmatkovska, Tetiana; Kulinich, Tetaina; Dziamulych, Mykola; Rogach, Svitlana; Bilochenko, Andrii; Serdiukova, OlenaIn the article we study the specifics of assessing investment activity in the agricultural sector of Ukraine's economy in terms of ensuring high efficiency of state regulation in this area. We have identified and substantiated the need for the use of special indicators to assess the impact of public policy on the investment process in agriculture in general and on the investment policy of agricultural producers. It is determined and substantiated that the most significant influence on the regulation of investment activity in the agricultural sector of Ukraine is exerted by the volume of state funding of investment management bodies and the level of financial incentives for investment. According to the results of the study, we substantiated the need to increase the efficiency of reforming the agricultural sector of Ukraine and the need and attraction of additional investment resources to ensure the implementation of the process of improving the functioning of agricultural producers in Ukraine.Item type:Наукова стаття, Profitability management of enterprises in the agricultural sector of Ukraine: analysis of development trends and modelling(2024-12-21) Dziamulych, Mykola; Shulha, Olha; Havadzyn, Nataliia; Sysoiev, Oleksii; Grytsyna, Oksana; Sholudko, Olsana; Rogach, SvitlanaThe article analyses trends in the formation of profitability of enterprises in the agricultural sector of Ukraine in the studied period, which made it possible to identify certain regularities and outline recommendations. The results of the economic-mathematical modelling of the return on equity of enterprises in the agricultural sector of Ukraine were developed and presented. Based on the evaluation and analysis of the developed models, recommendations are proposed for increasing the profitability of enterprises in the agricultural sector of Ukraine, taking into account modern challenges and prospects. In particular, several measures were proposed to help improve the profitability of Ukrainian farm producers` capital. Among them, it is advisable to highlight the reduction of the financial dependence of agricultural enterprises in terms of reducing the use of credit resources with a simultaneous increase in state support for the farm sector, as well as the further consideration of risk reduction factors during the formation of the commodity policy of agricultural enterprises.Item type:Наукова стаття, Management of production resources of agricultural enterprises in Ukraine: a case study of Volyn region(2023-03-27) Dziamulych, Mykola; Rogach, Svitlana; Shulha, Olha; Stupen, Nazar; Tendyuk, Alla; Stryzheus, Liudmyla; Bilochenko, AndriiThe article aimed to analyze resources management of an agricultural enterprise in Ukraine. It proved that the resource potential of agricultural enterprises is a necessary element of the management system. The need for strategic management of resource potential is determined by the fact that in modern conditions, inefficient use of resources reduces the competitiveness of enterprises and makes their activities irrational. According to the results of the study, we substantiated that the development of a methodology for the formation of a resource strategy offers an opportunity for the enterprise to ensure the effectiveness of the process of providing its own resources. The given factors and conditions of strategic management of the resource potential of agricultural enterprises contribute to the further development of applied aspects of the use of the theory of resource potential by enterprises in the field of agriculture.Item type:Наукова стаття, Analysis of modern trends in the transformation of the agricultural sector of Ukraine: a case study of a regional surveyor(2024) Shubalyi, Oleksandr; Gordiichuk, Antonina; Kosinskyi, Petro; Rud, Nadiia; Vasilik, Nataliia; Kiiilukha, OksanaThe article analyses the current state of the process of transformation of the agro-industrial sector of the economy of Ukraine in the context of existing challenges and prospects and the formation of the country's food security in the system of existing risks in the agricultural sector of the economy that have arisen in the realities of modern times. Possible ways of solving problematic issues are also proposed. The results of the grouping of the regions of Ukraine according to the indicator of the shortage of elevator capacities are presented. An assessment of the impact of factors that slow down agribusiness development in Ukraine in 2016-2021 is provided. The study results confirm that Ukraine`s agricultural business is an essential component of the economy, generating more than 1/10 of the country`s GDP annually. The analysis results prove the constant trends in the development of the agricultural market of Ukraine, especially in the part of large businesses operating here.
