Item type:Наукова стаття, Regional Development and Communication Networks: Case Study of Western Ukraine(2024-10-30) Puhach, Serhii; Kaidyk, OlehCommunication is the basis of existence of modern civilization. Nowadays, communication is part of the most intensive innovation processes. The level of formation of communication networks largely determines both the preconditions and the current development of regions. Aim: The aim of the study was to analyze the interdependencies between the level of socio-economic development of the examined areas and the formation of communication networks on the example of local territorial units of Western Ukraine. The correlation analysis revealed significant links between communication networks and regional development. It is not always possible to determine the exact cause and effect in a specific case. The results of this study indicate that the socio-economic development of Western Ukraine has a more significant impact on the functioning of communication networks than the communication networks have on the socio-economic development. Like other natural and socio-economic resources, the presence of communication networks is a prerequisite for the development of the region. The emergence, perception and widespread use of new communications depend on several factors, one of which is the socio-economic development of a given area.Item type:Наукова стаття, Project Safety Management Systems of Students with 3D Game Development(2021-08-03) Sivakovska, Olena; Rudynets, Mykola; Yashchuk, Andrii; Redko, Rostyslav; Zabolotnyi, OlegOne of the main directions of the modern state development is the sphere of ensuring the security of the population. New ways to improve the system of safety measures for participants in the educational process in emergencies, which provide increased stress resilience of students and provide support at a high level of their knowledge and skills to act in extreme conditions were been proposed. One of the ways is a project of training in a virtual environment close to real conditions. It is proposed, for the first time, to develop a training-game 3D simulator for psychological preparation and training of students to act in emergencies, using various functions of modeling possible emergencies. The developed software will help to increase the level of socioeconomic protection of students through the game in a 3D simulator, which will be offered to students as homework or before lessons, or as training behavior in emergencies of different nature and under different conditions. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.Item type:Наукова стаття, Performance Comparison of Low-Density Parity-Check (LDPC) Codes for Reliable Communication in Noisy Channels(Tampere: IEEE, 2024-04-24) Yashchuk, AndriiBackground: With significant improvements in communication systems, especially in the context of emerging smart cities, data dependability over noisy channels has become critical. Low-Density Parity-Check (LDPC) codes have gained popularity because to their large error correcting capabilities, which have even approached the Shannon limit, making them indispensable in current communication systems. Objective: The purpose of this article is to conduct a thorough examination of the performance of LDPC codes, with a focus on their effectiveness in noisy communication situations. Understanding the capabilities of LDPC in error correction, decoding complexity, and throughput efficiency across various setups and circumstances is the goal. Methods: A variety of LDPC code configurations, including specialized configurations such as turbo-coded LDPC and finite geometry-based LDPC codes, were investigated. Their performance was evaluated using simulations under various signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) settings, offering a realistic perspective on how they will behave in real-world communication scenarios. Results: Preliminary data indicate that LDPC code configurations vary in performance. The current study focuses on the trade-offs of various arrangements, stressing their unique strengths and disadvantages. This comparison analysis gives a road map for choosing the best LDPC code for certain communication applications, which is especially important for urban areas on their digital transformation path. Conclusion: In the smart cities, LDPC codes offer tremendous potential to improve the reliability and efficiency of communication networks. Understanding their intricacies, strengths, and trade-offs may help influence communication strategy choices, resulting in more connected, efficient, and sustainable urban ecosystems. © 2024 FRUCT.Item type:Наукова стаття, Development of a system for predicting failures of bagging machines(2025-12-20) Huliieva, Nataliia; Lishchyna, NataliiaThe reliability and effective operation of machines is a pressing problem for every enterprise, which requires labour intensive systematizationof production processes. The goal is to develop an algorithm and a system for predicting failures of packaging machines based on the analysisof operational indicators. The scientific novelty lies in the integration of statistical data to assess the efficiency of machine operation and predict possible failures, which allows significantly improving maintenance processes and reducing the risks of unforeseen breakdowns. The practical valueis the development of a forecasting system that collects the necessary statistical data and performs forecasting. Based on the collected data, an assessment of the efficiency of work and forecasting of possible failures is carried out. The forecasting system is demonstrated on the example of packaging machines LEMO INTERmat ST-SA 850 of "Tatrafan" LLC. Two research methods were used: calculation (mathematical) and forecasting system (least squares method). The forecasting system provides two ways of presenting data: tabular and graphical. Tabular presentation of data allows filtering information according to various criteria, while graphical display is implemented in the form of diagrams showing the operating time and downtime of machines. The main results are the determined range of probable failure of LEMO INTERmat ST-SA 850 packaging machines, which lies in the range from 9090.5to 12736.5 hours of operation and almost coincides with the manufacturer's warranty period. With timely maintenance, it is possible to increase the lower limit of this interval.Item type:Наукова стаття, Soil Analysis Software Tool for Smart Control of Agronomic Data(2022-09-26) Satsyk, Viktor; Lishchyna, Nataliia; Khrystynets, Nataliia; Gumeniuk, Larysa; Korobchuk, LiudmylaIn this paper we develop system approach for obtaining, analysing and managing the agronomic parameters of the soil based on software and hardware IT-complex. Among the common mistakes are insufficient attention to the geometry of the object, insufficient calculation of the thickness of the walls and details. An algorithm for analyzing the manufacturability of parts before the start of production can help avoid many problems. Determining the optimal print direction, support placement, and heat distribution are key steps that help ensure the highest manufacturing quality. It is also important to emphasize the use of mathematical calculations during design. Calculating the amount of material required, optimizing geometry to minimize weight and maximize strength are just a few examples of how math can facilitate the process. Careful advance planning and the use of advanced analytical methods can significantly improve product quality and reduce production errors. Recommendations provided at various stages of design and production create an opportunity for engineers to avoid common problems and ensure the successful implementation of projects in the field of additive manufacturing.Item type:Наукова стаття, Program Implementation of Educational Electronic Resource for Inclusive Education of People with Visual Impairment(2023) Tulashvili, Yurii; Lukianchuk, Iurii; Lishchyna, Valerii; Lishchyna, NataliiaIt is substantiated that the educational software used in the educational process during the computer training of visually impaired people contributes to the formation of their correctional and compensatory devices for the use of computer technology. Energy efficiency is one of the urgent problems in Ukraine today. As part of this study, the use of IoT will help monitor and control energy consumption data. Auxiliary power supplies are devices that provide supplemental power to an existing power source. They are often used in automotive, electrical, and industrial applications. DIY auxiliary power supplies are those that are built by the user instead of purchasing a ready-made product. Building your own power supply can be a cost-effective option, as well as an enjoyable DIY project. The purpose of the research is to develop a device based on the existing electrical engineering components, which allows you to completely or partially replace the functionality of industrial analogs of power supplies.
