    Modern Programming Technologies in the Tasks of Identification and Classification of Military Aircraft Using Machine Learning Algorithms

    This article addresses the development of an intelligent military aircraft identification system using artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep self-learning technologies to enhance national security and military efficiency. The system aims to automatically and accurately recognize and classify aircraft in images, offering advantages over traditional methods such as higher productivity, speed, accuracy, and the elimination of human error. The importance of deep learning solutions for threat detection and operational efficiency is emphasized. Modern visual data-based object recognition methods and tools are analysed. The methodology includes collecting and preprocessing data, developing a high-precision recognition system based on Yolov8, annotating objects with Roboflow, and creating training, validation, and testing subsets in the yolo format. The paper details the dataset formation process and presents satisfactory results in fast recognition of military aircraft with high classification accuracy. A comparative analysis of Yolov8, R-CNN, and GPT-4 models shows Yolov8's superiority in prediction accuracy and performance. The article describes the model management system for adjusting hyperparameters, selecting object categories, and initiating the training and forecasting process. Testing results demonstrate Yolov8's optimality for military aircraft identification, achieving accurate target identification in complex situations using advanced deep learning algorithms.

    Solving operational tasks in the design of video surveillance systems

    The article discusses the problem of CCTV design, which consists in the constant change of recommended criteria for equipment selection caused by the continuous and rapid evolution of technologies. The results of the analysis of existing standards are presented and discrepancies are identified. This trend leads to the destabilization of clear quality criteria and the risk of unreasonable CCTV design. The paper highlights the methods and results of research into changes in the spatial resolution of images from a range of technical characteristics of video cameras based on the relevant theory, which is implemented analytically and confirmed by computer modeling using specialized software. The results of the study, obtained by calculation and modeling, indicated a general discrepancy in the data obtained, which does not exceed the permissible limits. The data presented in the study results will help designers make an informed choice of video cameras, which will reduce the risk of excessive design.

    The Original Method of Controlling a Computer Using Distance Sensors

    The article provides a brief overview of human-computer interaction methods and systems, and the research made in this area. We have designed the architecture of the system and tested a method of controlling a computer using ultrasonic distance sensors. In the course of the experiment, the following problems have been solved: obtaining and processing data from several distance sensors, data transfer to gesture recognition algorithm, uncontrolled oscillations of sensor indicators. The suggested method of controlling a computer can be used in ubiquitous computing.

    Determination of stress concentration near the holes under dynamic loadings

    Purpose. To develop an approach for determining the stress state of plate structural elements with holes under dynamic loads with controlled accuracy. Methodology. The study was carried out on the basis of the Laplace transform and the method of integral equations. Findings. An approach to determining the dynamic stresses at the holes in the plates is proposed, which includes: the Laplace transform in the time coordinate; a numerical method for determining transformants of displacements and stresses based on the method of integral equations; finding originals on the basis of Prudnikov’s formula adapted to dynamic problems of elasticity theory. The problem of determining the Laplace images for displacements is reduced to solving singular integral equations. Integral equations were solved numerically based on the approaches developed in the boundary element method. To find displacements and stresses, the Laplace transform inversion formulas proposed by Prudnikov are adapted to dynamic problems. The study on dynamic stresses at holes of various shapes was carried out. Originality. A new approach to the regularization of the Prudnikov formula for inverting the Laplace transform as applied to dynamic problems of the theory of elasticity has been developed. For its implementation: convergence of Fourier series based on preset stresses at the initial time is improved; the remainder is taken into account in the conversion formula. Practical value. A method has been developed for calculating the stress concentration at holes of arbitrary shape in lamellar structural elements under dynamic loads. The proposed approach makes it possible to determine stresses with controlled accuracy. The studies performed at circular and polygonal holes with rounded tops can be used in strength calculations for dynamically loaded plates. The influence of Poisson’s ratio on the concentration of dynamic stresses is analyzed.

    Multiprocessing as a Way to Optimize Queries. Advances in Transdisciplinary Engineering

    Developing an effective web application involves the use of various methods and techniques to ensure fast and efficient processing of requests. Sometimes it is not possible to solve the problem of multiprocessing with a single tool, such as a programming language or framework. This work investigates the use of asynchronous methods of processing requests using queues. Job operation in background and non-background modes relative to the main web process is studied. Analytics are provided to analyze a web application with 13,000 requests to process daily. It is proposed to optimize the processing by using the Laravel framework and the Python server dual-tasking using the Supervisor tool on Linux, as well as using a task scheduler for each task. The paper presents positive findings about this algorithm, which contributes to the efficiency of web development and provides a great user experience on the website. Fast processing of web application requests can be a valuable competitive advantage for a business or organization. Research in this field helps to maintain their high competitiveness. In addition, the study of query processing speed is important in scientific research, as it contributes to the development of new algorithms, optimization methods and technologies.

    The Auxiliary Parametric Sensitivity Method as a Means of Improving Project Management Analysis and Synthesis of Executive Elements

    To write differential state equations of investigated actuating devices in the needed Cauchy’s normal form, we must abandon the traditional theory of electrical circuits for the theory of electromagnetic circuits. In this work, the known and developed new mathematical models for the analysis of special states have been involved. For solving this problem, it is necessary, at first, to construct a mathematical model of the actuating device. This model is based on the construction of a monodromy matrix, and simulation of transient and steady-state processes at the same time. To make the numerical analysis more convenient, differential equations for models of electromechanical state are written down in Cauchy's normal form. The algorithm involves the study of transient and stationary processes by decomposing them into constituent parts using the mathematical apparatus of the classical theory of nonlinear differential equations, which are calculated in a relatively simple way. The transitional process is obtained as a result of the differentiation of state equations for given initial conditions. We obtain a steady-state process by the initial conditions that exclude transient response. Such conditions we receive by the iterative Newton method. The proposed method of auxiliary variation equations allowed bypass procedure of differentiation of matrix coefficients over the argument that ensured the possibility of the algorithm application of the method of parametric sensitivity. The method of analysis can be spread to more complex nonlinear systems, such as electric motors.

    Information Technology of Information Security Audit of Objects of Critical Infrastructure

    Context. The scientific and practical task to substantiate the mathematical apparatus on the basis of which the information technology of information security audit of critical infrastructure is developed, which provides verification of compliance of critical infrastructure with the general requirements approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 2019-06-19, No.518. A security audit is one of the most effective measures to increase the level of information security of the critical infrastructure. Objective. The purpose of the work is to create information security audit of critical information infrastructure on the basis of separate partial solutions of information technology. Method. On the basis of the general requirements defined by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 2019-06-19, No.18 “On approval of the General requirements for cyber protection of critical infrastructure objects” a set of indicators and evaluation criteria was proposed. The structure of future information technology was offered. In accordance with the structure of information technology, the stages of the methodology of information security audit of critical infrastructure were built. The technique contains a simple mathematical apparatus that simplifies calculations even in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. In this paper, in contrast to the known methods and techniques, it is proposed to take into account the weight of the importance of information security requirements. As a result, the method has become sensitive to the most critical requirements for cybersecurity of critical infrastructure. Results. Information technology of information security audit of critical information infrastructure objects has been developed. Conclusions. The experiments in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets confirm the efficiency of the proposed method. It is advisable to recommend the development of software that would in practice automate the process of information security audit of critical information infrastructure. The scientific novelty of the obtained result is that for the first time the information technology of information security audit of critical infrastructure facilities was developed, which provides verification of compliance of critical infrastructure facilities with the general requirements approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated 19 June 2019, No.518. The practical significance of the work lies in the possibility of developing information technology software. Prospects for further research in this area. The presented study does not cover all aspects of this problem. Theoretical and practical results obtained in the process of scientific research are the basis for further study in such areas as the development of information technology software.

    Area of Interest Based Assessment of Software Interface Usability for Human-Computer Interaction Using Eye-Tracking

    Non-functional requirements to software quality (SWQ) is described in general by SWQ models characteristics. Last the most famous software quality model ISO/IEC 25010 includes eight characteristics: functional suitability, performance efficiency, compatibility, usability, reliability, security, maintainability and portability. Usability as a SWQ characteristic must include subcharacteristics, inherent to software user interface quality as static object and also as subcharacteristics of process user interaction, i.e. is user-computer interaction in real time. In existing models of quality and quality assessment of usability the peculiarities of humancomputer interaction (HCI) in real time are not taken into account in real time. Software interface usability model (SIUM) for HCI and models for its assessment are suggested. Such models are interconnected through a single nomenclature of subcharacteristics. HCI SIUM consists of two parts and includes a set of metrics, which correspond to the defined under subcharacteristics. Particularity of model is that all primitives for calculation software interface usability metrics for HCI obtained only with use of software and hardware complex of the eye-tracker.

    Effective Content Moderation Using Modern AI Tools

    In the paper we develop a web application that integrates AI capabilities for content moderation, while providing an effective and balanced user protection system based on general comparative analysis of two leading tools for content moderation: Microsoft Content Moderator and Google Perspective API. Moderation mechanisms using AI algorithms have been developed, allowing not only to filter unwanted content, but also to adapt to changing conditions and user needs. We present the comparison results of two language models of Google Perspective API and Microsoft Content Moderator and appropriate tools taking into account the specific helpful, honest, harmless criteriums that is aligned with human values and include emotional tonality supported by developers.

    Model of formalized information security audit of an organization with a critical infrastructure facility for compliance with international security standards

    The article emphasizes the importance of conducting information security audits for information systems of critical infrastructure organizations. Effective protection is ensured by aligning security systems with international standards. The audit monitors and assesses compliance but remains effective only when performed regularly by trained specialists. Due to the routine nature of audits and wartime constraints, such as power outages and loss of communication, AI-based methods are often impractical. Therefore, the authors propose a temporary solution using formalized security assessment criteria with clear indicators for objective verification. The study develops a methodology for conducting audits aligned with international standards, addressing the lack of practical guidance in existing ones. It also analyzes global regulatory documents to identify typical management approaches and proposes an adaptable checklist-based methodology covering 10 key information security areas, particularly useful for organizations operating under wartime conditions. © 2025 Copyright for this paper by its authors.
