The system of international documents regulating road safety is sues, including UN conventions, European agreements, resolutions, and action plans of international organizations, is investigated. The effectiveness of implementing international standards in countries with different levels of economic development is an alyzed, and the main challenges facing the global road safety system are identified. The legal approach focuses on improving the regulatory framework and mechanisms of responsibility, including strengthening sanctions for traffic violations and implementing the European model of responsibility. The technological approach involves the implementation of innovative means of controlling road situations, in particular, automated systems for recording violations, intelligent transport systems, and technologies for preventing emergencies.
