(2024-12-30) Bakiko, Igor; Dmytruk, Vitaliy; Romaniuk, Alyona
Background and Study Aim. Study of stability of results of the morphofunctional condition, physical fitness and competitive activity is the main predictor of an athlete’s individual development: if these indicators are stable, then the development can be predicted the prediction will be inaccurate due to the high variability of the results of multi-year observations. This will allow to determine the potential movement capabilities of those who are engaged, this will make it possible to more rationally plan the volume of training loads in the annual training cycle, choose adequate training means. The aim of the study – to determine the criteria for predicting sports results in freestyle swimming at a distance of 100 m in young swimmers aged 16 years. Material and Methods. 35 young swimmers aged 10–16 years took part in the research. The research was conducted in the sports complex of Lutsk National Technical University (LNTU) in April 2024. The following methods were used in the work: theoretical analysis of literary data, methods of determining the morphofunctional state, methods of identifying hydrodynamic qualities, methods of determining the biological maturation of an organism; pedagogical control tests (swimming distances – 25 m, 50 m, 100 m, 200 m freestyle); methods of mathematical statistics. Results. The stablest indicators are the body length, length of a foot, a hand and foot. During all analyzed age periods the reliable interrelation between length of sliding and the maximum speed of swimming which considerably increases with age is revealed. Initial sports results with different level of maturing of an organism make unequal impact on sporting achievements of young swimmers at the age of 16 years at various distances. In process of increase in length of a distance stability of indicators of competitive activity increases. During predicting sports results in freestyle swimming at the age of 16, the initial results, the rates of their growth during the period of the first two years of training, the level of biological development of young swimmers were taken into account. Conclusions. The presented materials can be used for forecasting of expected development of physical readiness of young swimmers.

Revealing the Peculiarities of Female Students’ Physiological Characteristics with Different Somatotypes in the Absence of Compulsory Physical Activity at University
(2024-10-30) Dmytruk, Vitaliy; Kovalchuk, Volodymyr; Hrebik, Oleh; Banakh, Volodymyr; Iedynak, Gennadii; Galamanzhuk, Lesia; Blavt, Oksana; Huska, Mykhailo
Objectives. The purpose of the study was to determine the parameters of female students’ physiological characteristics with different somatotypes, which they achieved by exercising outside the university due to COVID-19 quarantine and air raids during the hostilities in Ukraine. Material and methods. The study involved 66 female students aged 17.8 ± 0.6 years, who belonged to different somatotypes and had no reservations about engaging in different amounts of physical activity. The Shtefko-Ostrovsky method, modified by S. Darskaja, was used to diagnose the somatotype. The necessary empirical data were obtained through the performing well-known functional tests that allowed to determine blood pressure, heart rate in different situations, vital capacity, vital capacity index, maximum isometric strength index, and Robinson index. The parameters of these characteristics were determined in female students with each of the four available somatotypes during the study, and each parameter was compared with different somatotypes. The testing was conducted at the beginning (January) and at the end (May-June) of the academic semester, but during one academic year. Results. At the beginning, and even more so at the end of the academic year, the parameters of the studied characteristics in female students with each of the available somatotypes differed from each other (p-values ranging at the level from 0.05 to 0.000). The volumes and conditions of physical activity used during the academic year did not lead to significant changes in the physiological characteristics of all female students, i.e. parameters remained at the previously achieved level. At the same time, the presence of peculiarities caused by the girl’s belonging to a certain somatotype was observed. Conclusions. Identifying the peculiarities in changes of female students’ physiological characteristics’ parameters, taking into account their somatotypes, is a perspective and significant direction for modernization of physical education at university. The obtained data will contribute to the individualization of the content and normative bases of physical education for female students, using information on the manifestation and change of parameters of various characteristics, including physiological ones.

The efficiency of the application of electronic techniques in the control of dynamic balance in the process of inclusive physical education
(2023-10-30) Dmytruk, Vitaliy; Kovalchuk, Volodymyr; Hrebik, Oleh; Blav, Oksana; Chaplinskyі, Rostyslav; Prozar, Mykola; Pityn, Maryan; Helzhynska, Tetiana
The purpose of the study was to determine the authenticity of the dynamic balance control device developed on the basis of modern trends in the field of electronic equipment for students with disabilities. Materials and methods. 32 students with disabilities, aged 18–24 years, I–III years of study, who received a doctor’s permission to participate in testing and had vestibular disorders, were selected for the studied sample, in accordance with the provisions of voluntariness and anonymity. General scientific methods of gathering theoretical information, the method of technical modeling, pedagogical testing and methods of mathematical statistics were used. Results. A dynamic balance control device was developed on the basis of the most up-to-date electronic equipment and programming. The device consists of an integrated electronic unit, a programmable microcontroller system unit, and a PC. The information received by the capacitive sensors placed in the unit of the integrated electronic unit during the student’s performance of the test task is processed in the unit of the programmable microcontroller system and transmitted via non-contact infrared communication lines to the PC where it is graphically presented. To establish the authenticity of testing using the developed device, reliability and validity coefficients were determined, which in numerical values reached a “high” level, in contrast to the test the results of which were recorded directly by the teacher and numerically corresponded to the limits of “low” and “medium”. Conclusions. The dynamic balance control device presented in the work is designed using the most up-to-date electronic equipment and programming. Considering the importance of eliminating vestibular disorders and related dynamic balance disorders in students with disabilities, the use of the presented development of the control device in the practice of inclusive PE is aimed at ensuring the effectiveness of this process. The integration of a control device developed based on current trends in the field of electronic equipment into the inclusive physical education of students with disabilities is the basis for the development of new approaches in the process of dynamic balance testing based on objective assessment.
