Item type:Наукова стаття, Strength and mechanical characteristics of modified polyurethane foams(2024) Mikulich, Olena; Hulay, Olga; Furs, Tetiana; Shemet, VasylynaThe article is devoted to studying the influence of the polymer modifier on the mechanical characteristics of polyurethane foams under typical technologies and conditions of foam production. As a modifying component, siloxane rubber additives with high elasticity were chosen. The microstructure of the obtained foams was analyzed and the process of deformation of the samples during compression was investigated. The results of experimental studies for different cases of partial ratios of foam components showed that the proportion of siloxane rubber additives significantly affects not only the mechanical and strength characteristics of foam materials but also their microstructure. An increase in the proportion of the modifier, along with an increase in strength and mechanical characteristics, leads to a decrease in the plastic characteristics of foams and an increase in the proportion of open pores in the material. The approaches described in the work can be used to produce structural elements from foam materials with predetermined characteristics.Item type:Наукова стаття, Design and Organization of Assessment Using the MOODLE(2025) Hulai, Olha; Shemet, Vasylyna; Moroz, IrynaModern approaches to assessing students’ learning achievements, in particular John Biggs’ Constructive Alignment Theory, are considered. The main elements underlying the design of the assessment system are highlighted. These are the expected learning outcomes, assessment criteria, assessment method, assessment scores, reflection. A functional diagram of the assessment organisation in the Moodle learning environment has been developed. The interrelationships of the scheme elements and the algorithm of its implementation at Lutsk National Technical University are established. The effectiveness and validity of the developed assessment system is demonstrated through the results of student assessment in the study of chemical disciplines. Assessment results show a slight deviation (no more than 5%) of the generalised results at each stage of the evaluation. The average reduced score was 76.28 (current control), 74.23 (module control), 75.08 (exam), 75.73 (final grade). This stability is proof of the balance of the developed evaluation system.Item type:Наукова стаття, Specified Parameters in Designing Porous Materials Using Magnetic Nanotechnologies(Sumy: Sumy State University, 2023) Riabchykov, Mykola; Furs, Tetiana; Alexandrov, Alexandr; Tsykhanovska, Iryna; Hulai, Olha; Shemet, VasylynaThe research is devoted to solving the problem of regulating the porosity parameters during the manufacturing process under magnetic field conditions. The process of synthesizing magnetic nanocomponents based on a mixture of divalent and trivalent iron oxides was given. The use of nanocomponents allowed for improving the conditions for creating porous materials. A device with adjustable magnetic induction was developed to produce porous materials in a magnetic field. The study of the porous material’s structure with the nanopowder content in the magnetic field conditions showed a clear dependence of the structure on the magnetic parameters. When the content of nanocomponents increased to 0.3 %, and the magnetic field induction increased to 2.5 mT, the dispersion of pore sizes decreased by 8–10 times, the density of pores – increased by 15–20 times, and the average diameter of pores – decreased by 12–15 times. Mathematical dependencies that determine the porosity parameters for different values of the magnetic nanopowder content and the level of magnetic induction in the ring electromagnet were proposed. The obtained dependencies allowed for assigning the level of magnetic technological parameters to ensure the given porosity parameters. The developed methods of magnetic technology for creating porous materials can increase the quality and ensure the required porosity level.Item type:Наукова стаття, Inquiry-Based Learning in the Study of Chemical Disciplines by Food Technologies Students(2024) Hulai, Olha; Moroz, Iryna; Shemet, VasylynaInquiry-based learning, IBL is analyzed as an educational strategy in which students use research methods and practices It is noted that the advantages of IBL are the development of curiosity and critical thinking, as well as active, conscious and deep learning. The method of conducting laboratory classes in biochemistry for students of specialty 181 Food technologies is given. The purpose of the research project “Milk” is to provide a comprehensive biochemical assessment of milk as a valuable food product and to establish criteria for assessing its quality. The application of the IBL strategy allows you to catch up, deepen, expand and combine competencies in the main chemical disciplines. The implementation of IBL requires significant methodological efforts on the part of the teacher and a certain level of research skills and abilities of students. Therefore, it is obvious that this technique will be effective in the final classes of disciplines or in integrated courses. The develop ment of thinking strategies, which are the essence of research practice, will be extremely useful in the performance of qualification work.
