Study of low-cycle fatigue of concrete bonding to sickle-shaped reinforcement
(Amsterdam: Elsevier, 2026) Chapiuk, Oleksandr ; Pakholiuk, Oleksandr; Rotko, Serhii; Volyansky, Volodymyr; Samchuk, Volodymyr; Andriichuk, Oleksandr; Martyniuk, Alla; Homon, Oleksandr
The article definition of low-cycle bond fatigue between concrete and reinforcing bars is presented. It has been experimentally established that low-cycle bond fatigue of reinforcement in concrete under high-level cyclic loading occurs during the elastic-plastic slip of the reinforcing bars. Furthermore, a formula is proposed to describe the low-cycle bond fatigue of concrete with deformed bars. This formula shows good agreement with experimental data; for the materials investigated, the relative low-cycle endurance value constitutes 0.88.

Educational Approaches to Cultivating Environmental Consciousness among Higher Education Students in Ukraine Economy
(New Delhi, India: The Grassroots Institute, 2024) Martyniuk, Alla; Hubina, Аlla; Kyseliuk, Natalia; Alyieva, Alvina; Litkovych, Yuliia; Tryndiuk, Valentyna
In the face of escalating environmental challenges such as climate change, resource depletion, and biodiversity loss, higher education institutions (HEIs) play a critical role in fostering environmental consciousness among future professionals. The research aims to analyze current pedagogical strategies, examine innovative development and digitalization factors, and explore how higher education can promote sustainable environmental consciousness among graduates. A combination of complementary methods, including analysis, synthesis and abstraction were used. The essential structural elements of the system of ecological consciousness, as well as the criteria and indicators of its formation, are also defined. Results revealed that the main prerequisites for low environmental awareness among students of higher education institutions in Ukraine are the insufficient development of civil society institutions, lack of motivation to comply with environmental legislation, and an inadequate level of public awareness of sustainable development and environmental stewardship priorities. Environmental education in higher education is often delivered in a traditionally minimalist format, with a narrow sectorial focus that fails to adequately foster environmental awareness development among future professionals. An innovative vision of the pedagogical strategy for forming environmental awareness of students of higher education institutions through fundamental life values, attitudes towards the intrinsic value of nature, and society's responsibility for their conservation and sustainable development is proposed. Mechanisms of Managing Social Development in the Conditions of War in Ukraine.
(United Kingdom, 2023) Morgun, Valerii; Didyk, Nataliia; Zhuk, Oksana; Silvestrova, Oksana; Koretska, Tetiana
The rationale for a management decision aimed at social development should be based on the results of a formalized description of the behavior of the modeled process or phenomenon. It is necessary to identify the optimal behavior of the modeling object, which can be based on the conditions of implementing the optimal strategy of the enterprise's behavior depending on the market conditions and labor activity of employees. Thus, the management decision aimed at the social development of the enterprise should be justified from the perspective of financial support and consider the interests of both the employer and the hired employees. Considering that in economic conditions, industrial enterprises should not only make financial incentive payments to personnel from profits, it is necessary to justify the need and possibility of rewarding employees for quality work. Therefore, developing an optimal strategy of enterprise behavior in the person of the administration, based on calculating the prices of pure strategies and optimizing their frequency of alternation, will allow for determining the enterprise's costs for providing social benefits and services to employees. In this case, management decisions aimed at encouraging employees are justified from the perspective of the financial resources of the enterprise, and staff motivation can improve through the effective work of the enterprise's personnel. Thus, in authors’ opinion, the main task of the social development of the organization is the optimization of the processes of social development and, as a result, the implementation of the social development plan of the enterprise in the form of a social passport, which, on the one hand, should be detailed enough to timely anticipate and solve emerging problems, as well as to coordinate the efforts of various departments and specialists. On the other hand, the organizations' social development plan should be flexible enough to allow managers to respond to unexpected disruptions from the external environment.

Aspects of effective communication (European experience): digital, informational, and sociolinguistic dimensions
(Buenos Aires, 2024-09-24) Mialkovska, Liudmyla; Cherneta, Svitlana; Zabiiaka, Iryna; Maiboroda, Oksana; Silvestrova, Oksana
Introduction: the modern era of digital technologies and globalization has brought about significant transformations in communication methods. This article explores how digital, informational, and sociolinguistic dimensions influence the processes of effective communication, focusing particularly on European experiences. Objective: the objective of this study is to analyze the impact of digital transformation, information transparency, linguistic diversity, and cultural adaptation on effective communication in modern European society. The research aims to uncover both the benefits and challenges posed by these factors in the context of communication processes. Method: this research employed a theoretical approach, synthesizing a wide range of literature and conducting psychological and sociolinguistic analyses. Comparative methods were used to assess different strategies of communication in European contexts, while particular attention was paid to understanding how digitalization and sociolinguistic factors interact. Results: the findings suggest that digitalization enhances accessibility and the speed of communication but introduces challenges, such as the digital divide and data protection issues. Information transparency and accessi bility have been identified as crucial in building trust and ensuring the effective exchange of information. Moreover, sociolinguistic factors, especially cultural and language adaptation, have proven essential for effective intercultural communication in Europe. Conclusions: the study concludes that successful communication strategies must incorporate digital, informational, and sociolinguistic aspects, particularly in multilingual and culturally diverse contexts. Awareness and adaptation to cultural norms and linguistic nuances are vital for creating more effective communication practices in both international and local interactions. Practical recommendations include focusing on cultural sensitivity and data transparency to further enhance communication processes.
