Item type:Наукова стаття, Manipulation of Consciousness: Psychological Mechanisms for Spreading Disinformation in Crisis Situations(2026-01) Mykola, Babii; Posvistak, Olesia; Korokhod, Yasmina; Opoka, Yuriy; Kustova, SvitlanaDuring crises such as wars, pandemics, and economic or technological disasters, disinformation spreads faster and wider than accurate information, amplifying social anxiety and undermining institutional trust. Its effects are driven by cognitive biases (illusory truth effect, confirmation heuristics), group identity congruence, and emotional triggers. The aim of this study is to integrate these psychological mechanisms and assess the effectiveness of inoculation (prebunking) and cognitive (accuracy-prompt) interventions in countering crisis-related disinformation. A preregistered multi-wave online experiment with a 2×2×2 factorial design was conducted on a sample of about 2000 adults from Ukraine and Central/Eastern Europe. Results indicate that repeated exposure amplifies the illusory truth effect; congruence with social identity increases credibility; threatening emotional tone enhances virality. Stand-alone interventions (prebunking or accuracy prompts) reduced belief and sharing intention by about 10–15%,whereas their combination achieved more than a 20% reduction with lasting effects. Age, need for cognition, and conspiratorial beliefs moderated susceptibility to disinformation. These findings demonstrate that combined preventive strategies can substantially strengthen societal informational resilience during crises. Виконання завдань віртуальної симуляції «Introduction to Groups of the Periodic Table» було запропоновано студентам як альтернативний варіант позааудиторної самостійної роботи. Cultural transfer in translation: Innovative approaches to preserving intercultural aspects of a text(2024) Prykhodko, Viktoriia; Kulakevych, Lyudmyla; Litkovych, Yuliia; Kanonik, Nataliia; Horodniuk, NataliaThe paper analyses cultural transfer in translation. In exploring innovative approaches to preserving intercultural aspects of a text, we turn to the concept of culture. The concept of cultural stems from the diversity of phenomena and realities that it encompasses and denotes in the speech of native speakers and in the meta-language of researchers of various disciplines who use it. Without granting it the status of a unifying term, the article hypothesizes that culture is a travelling, interdisciplinary concept used in sociology, comparative law, cultural studies, translation studies, pragmatic linguistics, and interlanguage communication as a unit for the cultural transfer of concepts. The paper defines the concept of culturama, drawing on research from other fields, and considers its characteristics as a minimal, autonomous unit responsible for cultural transfer in translation, carrying cultural information and being a "resistance" for intercultural translation, which is not equivalent to interlingual transfer. A minimal unity of meaning, not necessarily reduced to monolingualism, cultural also develops related shades, a number of significant nuances that are still poorly understood. The results of the study show their dependence on the sociocultural context, on a specific situation of communication. We classify cultures into historical, cultural, and literary ones, and divide them into simple and compound ones. In addition, we distinguish between fixed cultures in the lexicon, which refer to an already known situation, such as clichés, proverbs, idioms, and fixed cultures in a literary work, which are sometimes allusively derived from the previous category. Being on the borderline between quotation and allusion, the latter type of cultural signs either avoids identification -implicitly, communication through translation does not take place -or is deliberately distorted by the translator himself in order to achieve the expected evocative effect in translation or is inadequately "preserved".Item type:Наукова стаття, Driving Organizational Leadership in Higher Education: Leveraging Innovative Teaching and ITCommunication Technologies for Digital Transformation(Vancouver: Canadian Institute For Knowledge Development, 2025-01) Martyniuk, Alla; Sushyk, Nataliia; Kovalchuk, Oksana; Lobanova, Svitlana; Kovalchuk, Volodymyr; Dolozhevska, LiudmylaThe article explores the role of innovative teaching methods and the use of information and communication technologies in higher education in the context of digitalization. The main focus is on the fact that modern challenges in the educational sphere necessitate the adaptation of the educational process to the conditions of the digital environment. The study uses a descriptive method of analyzing literary sources for a more complete and accurate analysis of scientific literature. At the same time, the most effective innovative teaching methods that promote the use of the latest technologies are considered – contextual learning, simulation learning, problem-based learning, modular full knowledge acquisition and distance learning. At the same time, an analysis of the features of the use of blended learning, gamification and adaptive learning is carried out, which also contributes to increasing the efficiency of the educational process in higher education. Among the methods of innovative teaching in higher education, it is also necessary to indicate artificial intelligence, virtual and augmented reality, mobile learning, as a means of personalizing the educational process and activating the cognitive activity of students. It is important to note that information and communication technologies are tools that can ensure flexibility, accessibility and interactivity of higher education, contributing to enhanced knowledge acquisition in conditions of distance and blended learning. In addition, a number of problematic issues that arise in the field of digitalization of education have been identified, the main of which are the need to increase the digital literacy of teachers and students, the implementation of effective methods of assessing knowledge in the digital space, ensuring information security and protecting personal data. A number of recommendations have been proposed for improving digital educational technologies and integrating innovative teaching methods into the educational process, taking into account modern requirements in the labor market. The results obtained will contribute to the mastery of the systematic implementation of information and communication technologies in higher education, including adaptive teaching methods and the development of students' digital competencies. The importance of updating the content of educational programs and exploring the possibilities of integrating innovative teaching methods into the educational process of higher education has been identified. Further research should be aimed at assessing the effectiveness of digital technologies and developing mechanisms for their adaptation to the needs of modern education.Item type:Наукова стаття, Ethical challenges in biotechnology: exploring the boundaries of scientific intervention(Rio de Janeiro, 2025-06-22) Silvestrova, OksanaBiotechnology is causing rapid advances that have offered new prospects in medicine, agriculture, and energy, but it has also raised various ethical issues that need proper regulation. All of these issues have great potential for both social inequality and moral controversy, especially ones such as genome editing, the use of GMOs, cloning and neuroenhancement. The study aims to examine the ethical and philosophical limits within which biotechnological intervention may be justified and formulate ways to regulate them. The methodology consists of the comparative analysis of regulatory documents, ethical concepts, and the publication of biotechnology-related science. Also, it includes a structural and logical analysis of the influence of biotechnology on social and moral norms. The study results indicate the need for a clear distinction between therapeutic and enhanced use of biotechnologies and institutional control the and enhancement harmonisation of of international bioethics standards. The analysis concluded that without a single regulatory approach, there are ethical and social risks related to the availability of biotechnology and the question of individual autonomy and risks associated with the long-term consequences of genetic modification. The work’s practical importance consists in the development of recommendations to the policy for regulating a regulatory policy responsible for the use of biotechnological innovations. Thrust for further research should be directed towards the appraisal of the real effects of biotechnology on social norms and the formulation of ethical mechanisms to dissuade possible threats.Item type:Наукова стаття, Human Development Across the Lifespan: Psychological Perspectives on Physical, Social and Cognitive Growth(Nebraska : IJRDO, 2025-04) Bykova, Svitlana; Koshyrets, Viktor; Zhuk, Oksana; Babii, Mykola; Redko, SerhiiBackground: The article analyses the psychological aspects of human development across different life stages, from childhood to old age. The changes that occur during maturation and ageing are examined at biological, psychological, and social levels. It is important to maintain a clear and logical structure when discussing such complex topics. Methods: The literature data was studied and analysed using theoretical research methods. The inductive method was employed to systematize the data obtained, and the deductive method was performed to generalize them. Results: During ontogenesis, individuals develop not only as organisms but also as personalities and conscious social beings. Therefore, it is necessary to consider their psychological development in various spheres, including physical, cognitive, and social aspects. Physical development is determined by changes in organ sizes, body shape, brain structure, sensory capabilities, and motor skills. Cognitive development encompasses all mental abilities and psychological processes, including the specific organization of thinking. Social development is characterized by a combination of personality traits and social skills. It is important to note that this development occurs simultaneously and interdependently in all three spheres. Conclusion: In the psychological development of individuals, various stages are distinguished. The sequence of these stages is predictable and irreversible. Although individual variations in the course of these periods are possible, they are characterized by certain regularities and psychological peculiarities. Knowledge of these regularities and peculiarities can contribute to the harmonious development of individuals and ensure their psychological well-being throughout life.Item type:Наукова стаття, Modern Concepts And Theories of State Management of the System of Social Work(Rio de Janeiro, 2023-03-16) Zhuk, Oksana; Malynovskyi, Valentyn; Silvestrova, Oksana; Haponchuk, OlenaAn analysis of valid theories and conceptual approaches of state management was conducted in modern concepts in order to determine positive and negative aspects and their influence on society based on various criteria. The purpose of the academic paper is to consider the definition of various management concepts and theories, to analyze the degree of adequacy of applying state governance in the system of social work. The following methods were used in the course of the research: analysis, synthesis, generalization, explanation and qualification of data. The primary sources for comprehending the present research are the fundamental concepts of management in the works of such foreign researchers as E. Downey, A. Etzioni, D. Easton, G. Laswell, O. Morgenstern, G. Simon, C. Lindblom, J. March, etc. The academic paper provides a generalized description of various schools of governance that have developed over the past century. Several new models-approaches to managing social development have been studied. It has been proved that the modern state management of the system of social work is developing as a state and public governance involving civil society based on social partnership. The degree of adequacy of modern theories and concepts for applying in managing thesystem of social work by the state is analyzed. The research author has proposed a transitive theory of state management of the system of social work.
