Utilizing methods such as system analysis, comparative-legal analysis, graphical data presentation, and statistical analysis of non-profit organizations' share in Ukraine’s GDP from 2016 to 2023, the findings reveal that many NGOs are categorized under corporate and government sectors, leading to a loss of their unique identity. The analysis shows that the share of non-profit organizations serving households in Ukraine’s GDP ranged from 0.8% to 1.9% during the study period. Furthermore, international approaches to satellite accounts for NGOs suggest a promising avenue for enhancing the transparency and completeness of statistical data. Ultimately, the study concludes that the actual scale of the third sector's activities significantly surpasses recorded statistics, underscoring the necessity of adopting a satellite account methodology to accurately assess the economic and social contributions of NGOs.Item type:Наукова стаття, Statistical Examination of Social Infrastructure in Ukraine’s Border Regions(Qena, Egypt: Natural Sciences Publishing Corporation, 2026) Vakhovych, Iryna; Al-Shirawi, Thaira; Smolych, Dariia; Pohuliaiko, YuriiIn this paper, we examine Ukraine's post-war reconstruction and the critical need for modernizing social infrastructure to preserve and develop human capital, facilitate the integration of displaced persons, and enhance regional competitiveness, particularly in border areas with the EU where such infrastructure is essential for cross-border cooperation and European integration. Utilizing methods including system analysis, structural-functional and comparative analysis, territorial analysis, and generalization, we classify types of social infrastructure, outline objectives for modernization, and identify key implementation stages in Ukraine's border regions. Our findings reveal that effective modernization is vital for preserving human capital, curbing depopulation and youth outflow, integrating internally displaced persons and veterans, attracting investments, and fostering regional economic development. Key elements include rehabilitation centers, modern educational institutions, housing and digital infrastructure, and improved transport systems for cross-border communication. Ultimately, this paper concludes that the modernization of social infrastructure is crucial for Ukraine's post-war economic recovery, human capital preservation, and integration into the European space, with a comprehensive approach that considers social, economic, and institutional factors essential for sustainable territorial development and enhancing their strategic significance for the state.Item type:Наукова стаття, The evolution of international logistics in the era of globalisation: opportunities and challenges for business operations(Kosice, 2025) Okseniuk, KaterynaThe state of international logistics is closely related to political, economic, and technological changes that take place in the context of dynamic technological development, military threats, and, at the same time, integration of countries in search of partners. The article aims to highlight the main aspects and features of the international logistic development in the globalization context. The methodology included general scientific methods of studying the chosen research object (analysis, synthesis, grouping). The logistics productivity index is considered the leading indicator of the global logistics sector developmet in 2018-2023. The study’s results demonstrate the dependence of logistics development on several factors. In the leading countries, according to the Logistics Performance Index, the drivers of change are investments in infrastructure, transport networks, IT communications, technology, digital networks, logistics centres and hubs; logistics education and competence; government support and incentives for the sector; and a stable political and economic environment that fosters investment and innovation. The article highlights the main aspects and features of the international logistics development in globalization condition. The practical value ofthe study lies in highlighting the challenges faced by the logistics sector on a global scale in the context of technological shifts and military threats (the need for investment in maintaining logistics sustainability, changing supply chains, and rising delivery costs).Item type:Наукова стаття, Factors of Influence and Support for Increasing Efficiency of Air Transport Logistics Before and After COVID-19(Jelgava : Latvia University of Life Sciences and Technologies, 2025-05-20) Kryvovyazyuk, Igor; Smerichevskyi, Serhii; Tolstushko, Nataliya; Valetskyi, BohdanSpreading the COVID-19 pandemic caused a profound and long-lasting negative impact on the dynamics of air transportation of passengers and cargo, despite the priority role of aviation companies in the global economy. The pandemic also negatively affected the efficiency of air transport logistics, which necessitated a more in-depth analysis of the factors of influence on changes in its level. The study reveals a methodological approach that allows to make a sound assessment of internal and external factors of influence and, based on its results, to develop a system of organizational and economic solutions for improving the efficiency of air transport logistics. In the context of the above, the advantages of using the integral indicators method for analyzing the efficiency of aviation companies logistics are clarified. Based on the methods of selective observation and calculation of the system of relative and average values of changes in basic indicators, global trends in the development of aviation commerce are summarized and aviation companies that occupy leading positions in the provision of air transportation of passengers and cargo are identified. By synthesizing the methods of integral and point evaluation, the influence of sub-factors of external and internal logistics efficiency of the world's leading aviation companies for passenger transportation in the periods before and after COVID-19 was analyzed. It was found that the aviation industry has fully recovered after the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic in terms of dynamics and efficiency of air transport logistics. As proposals based on the research results, a system of goals, influencing factors and resource provision for increasing the efficiency of air transport logistics in the post-COVID period was specified.
