Hospitality industry during global crisis: economic impacts and strategic approaches to development

Abstract

Under current conditions, the development of tourism and hospitality, as part of Ukraine's recreational and tourist complex, is a priority for the national economy and culture, an important factor in strengthening the country's international authority, a source of socio-economic development of regions and an important condition for the protection of historical and cultural heritage. Ukraine has all the objective prerequisites for the formation of a tourist market, such as geographical location and relief, favourable climate, rich nature, history, culture and tourist and recreational potential.За сучасних умов розвиток туризму та гостинності, як частини рекреаційно-туристичного комплексу України, є пріоритетним завданням національної економіки та культури, важливим фактором зміцнення міжнародного авторитету країни, джерелом соціально-економічного розвитку регіонів та важливою умовою охорони історико-культурної спадщини. Україна має всі об'єктивні передумови для формування туристичного ринку, такі як географічне розташування та рельєф, сприятливий клімат, багата природа, історія, культура та туристично-рекреаційний потенціал.
