The textbook describes the main theoretical and applied aspects related to computer control, modeling, and design of electrical technologies and their application in cyber-physical systems. The main focus is on control systems ranging from DC motor control systems and networks to intelligent control systems for unmanned aerial vehicles, using embedded models, artificial neural networks, and fuzzy logic. A separate chapter describes control systems based on programmable logic devices (FPGAs). The hardware and software components of the control examples are accompanied by a comparative analysis of modern technologies and tools, their modeling, and implementation. This book can serve as a textbook for Master's and postgraduate students, as well as for lecturers in computer engineering and electrical engineering, helping them better understand current trends and prospects for digitalization in control systems in response to the challenges of Industry 5.0.
