Item type:Наукова стаття, Globalisation and Digitalisation: The European Approach to Cutting-edge Educational Practices(2024-09-30) Martyniuk, Alla; Zabiiaka, Iryna; Shevchuk, Anastasiia; Lobanova, Svitlana; Hubina, Alla; Melnychuk, OlhaThe urgency of optimising the development of Ukraine’s education system is driven by the need to preserve intellectual potential and national identity against the backdrop of the priority of integrating into the European system in the context of post-war recovery. The research aims to identify gaps in existing studies on globalisation and digitalisation practices based on successful European experiences and propose a new research direction in immersive technologies. The innovative solutions proposed in the article pertain to immersive technologies integrated into the educational process to enhance material assimilation and create engaging experiences. The advantages of their application are highlighted, including the visualisation of abstract and complex learning concepts, stimulation of active participation in interaction with virtual objects and environments, development of creativity and problem-oriented thinking, and obtaining realistic experience. The study establishes that the implementation of advanced educational practices of the European community and the involvement of long-term international funding in synergy form potential optimal prerequisites for developing the higher education system in the national space through the differentiation of powers between various institutions, autonomy in the organisation of educational process management, and the formation of a competitive environment in the higher education sector.Item type:Наукова стаття, Educational Approaches to Cultivating Environmental Consciousness among Higher Education Students in Ukraine(Grassroots Institute, 2024-12) Kyseliuk, Nataliia; Martyniuk, Alla; Hubina, Alla; Alyieva, Alvina; Litkovych, Yuliia; Tryndiuk, VflentynaIn the face of escalating environmental challenges such as climate change, resource depletion, and biodiversity loss, higher education institutions (HEIs) play a critical role in fostering environmental consciousness among future professionals. The research aims to analyze current pedagogical strategies, examine innovative development and digitalization factors, and explore how higher education can promote sustainable environmental consciousness among graduates. A combination of complementary methods, including analysis, synthesis and abstraction were used. The essential structural elements of the system of ecological consciousness, as well as the criteria and indicators of its formation, are also defined. Results revealed that the main prerequisites for low environmental awareness among students of higher education institutions in Ukraine are the insufficient development of civil society institutions, lack of motivation to comply with environmental legislation, and an inadequate level of public awareness of sustainable development and environmental stewardship priorities. Environmental education in higher education is often delivered in a traditionally minimalist format, with a narrow sectorial focus that fails to adequately foster environmental awareness development among future professionals. An innovative vision of the pedagogical strategy for forming environmental awareness of students of higher education institutions through fundamental life values, attitudes towards the intrinsic value of nature, and society's responsibility for their conservation and sustainable development is proposed.Item type:Наукова стаття, Non-Verbal Means of Communication in the Representation of the Emotional State of Joy in Modern English Fictional Discourse(Warsaw: Institute of Slavic Studies, Polish Academy of Sciences, 2020) Kyseliuk, Nataliia; Hubina, Alla; Martyniuk, Alla; Tryndiuk, ValentynаThis article concerns the study of the non-verbal means of communication designating the emotional state of joy which are present in fictional discourse. The functional peculiarities of non-verbal means designating the emotional state of joy are specified. It is proved that the register of non-verbal components indicating joy includes facial expressions, gestures, phonation, and the like. The subsystems of kinesic and phonatory non-verbal components are the dominant ones. Fictional discourse including representations of joy contains both verbal and non-verbal means of designating the emotional state, functioning either separately or in interaction. This interaction is based on the concept of emotional valence and is represented in repetition, contradiction, substitution, complementation, emphasis and regulation. In an utterance, non-verbal means can occur in the initial, medial, and final positions. The most common models of the occurrence of non-verbal components denoting joy in utterances are revealed.Item type:Наукова стаття, Study of low-cycle fatigue of concrete bonding to sickle-shaped reinforcement(Amsterdam: Elsevier, 2026) Chapiuk, Oleksandr ; Pakholiuk, Oleksandr; Rotko, Serhii; Volyansky, Volodymyr; Samchuk, Volodymyr; Andriichuk, Oleksandr; Martyniuk, Alla; Homon, OleksandrThe article definition of low-cycle bond fatigue between concrete and reinforcing bars is presented. It has been experimentally established that low-cycle bond fatigue of reinforcement in concrete under high-level cyclic loading occurs during the elastic-plastic slip of the reinforcing bars. Furthermore, a formula is proposed to describe the low-cycle bond fatigue of concrete with deformed bars. This formula shows good agreement with experimental data; for the materials investigated, the relative low-cycle endurance value constitutes 0.88.Item type:Наукова стаття, European Perspectives on Innovative Educational Practices in the Age of Globalization and Digitalization(Canada: University of Windsor, 2025) Martyniuk, Alla; Zabiiaka, Iryna; Shevchuk, Anastasiia; Lobanova, Svitlana; Hubina, Alla; Melnychuk, OlhaThe potential of innovative learning technologies and digitalization is a key factor in the progressive development of the academic space within the context of educational environment integration. This article aims to study the potential of innovative learning technologies in the context of globalization and the digitalization of education, based on successful European experiences. It also pays special attention to immersive digital media that involve virtual and mixed-reality possibilities. To achieve these goals, a combined approach was applied, including the analysis of existing case studies and the formation of conclusions based on secondary data analysis. This research suggests ways to integrate immersive-learning tools into practice-oriented learning. These types of tools contribute to improving the processes of learning by students, allowing them to visualize complex and abstract definitions, motivate active participation in the learning process, develop creativity and practical skills of problem-based thinking, and provide realistic experiences of solving educational tasks in practice. This article substantiates that these innovations successfully used in developed countries of the European community will allow for the effective development of the national educational system in the post-war reconstruction of Ukraine. This article establishes the need to upgrade the existing educational development strategy to delineate powers between different management institutions, create a competitive environment in the educational sector, and expand opportunities for financing state-of-the-art projects in this area. The prospects for educational development are focused on the potential of immersive learning technologies, practice-oriented education, and interactive communication tools for competence-based learning.Item type:Наукова стаття, Educational Approaches to Cultivating Environmental Consciousness among Higher Education Students in Ukraine Economy(New Delhi, India: The Grassroots Institute, 2024) Martyniuk, Alla; Hubina, Alla; Kyseliuk, Nataliia; Alyieva, Alvina; Litkovych, Yuliia; Tryndiuk, ValentynaIn the face of escalating environmental challenges such as climate change, resource depletion, and biodiversity loss, higher education institutions (HEIs) play a critical role in fostering environmental consciousness among future professionals.
