Item type:Наукова стаття, Digital Transformations in Learning: New Approaches to Teaching Foreign Languages in the Modern Educational Environment(2025-08-29) Yanovets, Anzhelika; Bondar, Tetiana; Kozak, Alla; Knysh, Tetiana; Shevchuk, Anastasiia; Voitenko, IrynaBackground: The modern education system is undergoing constant transformation under the influence of digital technologies that are being introduced into the learning process. Although digital technologies are widely used in foreign language learning, their advantages are controversial and require further study to determine their applicability. Therefore, the aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of implementing digital technologies in foreign language teaching methods under experimental conditions at a local educational institution in Ukraine. Materials and Methods: The study used methods of analysis, synthesis, experimentation, testing, surveying, and statistical and graphical comparison. Results: The study involved 52 first-year students of the Faculty of Education who had taken an optional course in English. Depending on the teaching methodology, the students were divided into two groups: Group I (n = 26)—hybrid teaching methodology; and Group II (n = 26)—traditional methodology. The testing revealed higher results in writing, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and understanding of the context of video and audio materials, and text in Group I, which used digital technologies (electronic dictionaries, artificial intelligence, online learning applications, video and audio materials). In contrast, Group II showed better results in communication skills and dialogue skills, which were associated with a greater number of tasks involving live communication in the group. The survey results showed higher motivation after the course among students in Group I and a higher level of satisfaction with the course. In contrast, in Group II, the level of motivation after the course decreased, which was associated with a lower level of satisfaction with the course and lower results in acquiring linguistic skills. Conclusion: The results of the study showed the high effectiveness of digital technologies for learning a foreign language, which should be combined with live communication to improve communication skills and the ability to conduct a dialogue. Another positive aspect of digital technologies in foreign language learning was identified as a positive impact on motivation to learn and satisfaction with the course.Item type:Наукова стаття, Educational Approaches to Cultivating Environmental Consciousness among Higher Education Students in Ukraine(Grassroots Institute, 2024-12) Kyseliuk, Nataliia; Martyniuk, Alla; Hubina, Alla; Alyieva, Alvina; Litkovych, Yuliia; Tryndiuk, VflentynaIn the face of escalating environmental challenges such as climate change, resource depletion, and biodiversity loss, higher education institutions (HEIs) play a critical role in fostering environmental consciousness among future professionals. The research aims to analyze current pedagogical strategies, examine innovative development and digitalization factors, and explore how higher education can promote sustainable environmental consciousness among graduates. A combination of complementary methods, including analysis, synthesis and abstraction were used. The essential structural elements of the system of ecological consciousness, as well as the criteria and indicators of its formation, are also defined. Results revealed that the main prerequisites for low environmental awareness among students of higher education institutions in Ukraine are the insufficient development of civil society institutions, lack of motivation to comply with environmental legislation, and an inadequate level of public awareness of sustainable development and environmental stewardship priorities. Environmental education in higher education is often delivered in a traditionally minimalist format, with a narrow sectorial focus that fails to adequately foster environmental awareness development among future professionals. An innovative vision of the pedagogical strategy for forming environmental awareness of students of higher education institutions through fundamental life values, attitudes towards the intrinsic value of nature, and society's responsibility for their conservation and sustainable development is proposed.Item type:Наукова стаття, Linguistic and pragmatic aspects of communication in the modern media world(Malaysia: University of Technology Malaysia, 2024-05-07) Kyseliuk, Nataliia; Mialkovska, Liudmyla; Sternichuk, Vita; Yanovets, Anzhelika; Hubina, Alla; Zabiiaka, Iryna; Kriukova, YuliyaTaking into account the purposeful activity of modern man, his acquisition of enormous masses of information during a short period, the communication aspect of communication in the business sphere has gradually turned from a means of enjoyment, length, and unhurried language interaction into a means of accurate, short and simultaneous full communication of a problem, initiative, proposal. Communication pragmatics came to the aid of such language transformations. The article proves that pragmalinguistics studies speech communication as a manifestation of speech activity – purposeful influence on each other (persuasion, persuasion, request for information, etc.) using language. To achieve their communicative goals, depending on the context and situation, their communicative roles, the speaker and the addressee use certain speech acts (written as sentences) corresponding to these goals – stating facts, encouraging action, etc. It is scientifically determined that the emergence of ecolinguistics is due to the need to solve the problems of interaction between language, man and nature. It is indicated that it covers extremely diverse research that reflects the importance of environmental issues in society. The attention given to issues of environmental protection at all levels of society, and as a result, the relevance of environmental issues, as well as the peculiarities of communication in the field of environmental protection, allow us to distinguish a separate type of discourse - ecological, which is characterized by the constant addition of the ecological glossary, the emergence of special axiological units, the presence of separate status.Item type:Наукова стаття, Study of low-cycle fatigue of concrete bonding to sickle-shaped reinforcement(Amsterdam: Elsevier, 2026) Chapiuk, Oleksandr ; Pakholiuk, Oleksandr; Rotko, Serhii; Volyansky, Volodymyr; Samchuk, Volodymyr; Andriichuk, Oleksandr; Martyniuk, Alla; Homon, OleksandrThe article definition of low-cycle bond fatigue between concrete and reinforcing bars is presented. It has been experimentally established that low-cycle bond fatigue of reinforcement in concrete under high-level cyclic loading occurs during the elastic-plastic slip of the reinforcing bars. Furthermore, a formula is proposed to describe the low-cycle bond fatigue of concrete with deformed bars. This formula shows good agreement with experimental data; for the materials investigated, the relative low-cycle endurance value constitutes 0.88.Item type:Наукова стаття, Educational Approaches to Cultivating Environmental Consciousness among Higher Education Students in Ukraine Economy(New Delhi, India: The Grassroots Institute, 2024) Martyniuk, Alla; Hubina, Alla; Kyseliuk, Nataliia; Alyieva, Alvina; Litkovych, Yuliia; Tryndiuk, ValentynaIn the face of escalating environmental challenges such as climate change, resource depletion, and biodiversity loss, higher education institutions (HEIs) play a critical role in fostering environmental consciousness among future professionals.
