Item type:Наукова стаття, Analysis of the socio-demographic state of rural areas in the system of their sustainable development: a case study of Ukraine(2021-12-22) Dziamulych, Mykola; Petrukha, Serhiy; Yakubiv, Valentyna; Zhuk, Oksana; Maiboroda, Oksana; Tesliuk, Sofia; Kolosok, AndriiIn the article we have substantiated and conducted statistically assess the impact of the final results of economic activity on the current socio-demographic situation of rural areas in Ukraine. Based on the results of determining the influence of conditioned factors on the level of labour migration of the rural population in Ukraine, we have developed a regression equation. Also, based on the results of the study, we built two cartograms, comparison of which provides an opportunity to assess the dynamics of the formation of the total fertility rate in rural areas (per 1 woman) for 2016 – 2020. We built a cartogram that visualizes the results of grouping regions of Ukraine by natural increase, decrease population in rural areas of Ukraine. The results of our study provide an opportunity to confirm that in the context of Ukraine’s official accession to the European Union and the serious challenges of today, the Ukrainian state should perform the functions of regulating the most important spheres of society in general and rural areas in particular. The task of increasing the employment of the rural population should be raised to the level of state priorities, which would provide an opportunity to create new jobs for the rural population in industries that can provide the maximum competitive effect.Item type:Наукова стаття, Formation of the natural resource economics in the system of environmental and economic security(2022-11-15) Dziamulych, Mykola; Myskovets, Iryna; Zubko, Anastasia; Tereshchuk, Oksana; Baidala, Viktoriia; Voichuk, MaksymThe article examines the modern specifics of the formation of the system of ecological and economic security and the construction of an effective economy of nature use in Ukraine. Modern concepts aimed at solving the problems of ecological and economic security in conditions of limited and depleted natural resources are considered. The problems of ensuring environmental safety in the business processes of modern enterprises have been identified. The methodological basis of the study of the problems of ensuring environmental safety and economic development was studied. It is proposed to apply greening of production as a priority direction of economic development to build an effective economy of nature use.Item type:Наукова стаття, Structural and risk-oriented determinants of the liquidity coverage ratio in the mechanism for ensuring the stability of the banking system of Ukraine(2026-06-10) Dziamulych, Mykola; Krupka, Mykhailo; Markiv, Halyna; Chyzh, Nataliia; Martyniuk, Rostyslav; Kotur, AndriyThe purpose of this study is to develop a dynamic econometric model for assessing the impact of structural, risk-oriented, and monetary factors on the formation of the Liquidity Coverage Ratio of the banking system of Ukraine under conditions of transformational shocks and structural restructuring of the financial sector. The main findings indicate that the level of the LCR is shaped by the configuration of the resource base, the structure of assets, the quality of the loan portfolio, the degree of capitalization, and the parameters of monetary policy. The principal conclusions suggest that the stability of the banking system is determined not by the mere maximization of liquidity per se, but by the structural optimization of balance sheet parameters within a controlled risk environment.Item type:Наукова стаття, Analysis of investment efficiency in the agricultural sector of Ukraine on the basis of sustainable development(2022-10-21) Shmatkovska, Tetiana; Kulinich, Tetaina; Dziamulych, Mykola; Rogach, Svitlana; Bilochenko, Andrii; Serdiukova, OlenaIn the article we study the specifics of assessing investment activity in the agricultural sector of Ukraine's economy in terms of ensuring high efficiency of state regulation in this area. We have identified and substantiated the need for the use of special indicators to assess the impact of public policy on the investment process in agriculture in general and on the investment policy of agricultural producers. It is determined and substantiated that the most significant influence on the regulation of investment activity in the agricultural sector of Ukraine is exerted by the volume of state funding of investment management bodies and the level of financial incentives for investment. The advantages of the transition to the use of liquidity standards determined by the provisions of Basel III have been determined. The higher efficiency of the LCR and NSFR standards, compared to the liquidity ratios previously used by the National Bank of Ukraine, has been proven. The peculiarities of the dynamics of liquidity standards in the banking system of Ukraine in general have been determined. The specifics of the impact of modern information and digital technologies on bank liquidity risk management are considered. The process of digital transformation of the liquidity management system based on the application of digital software solutions for liquidity risk analysis and forecasting is considered.Item type:Наукова стаття, Features of banks` liquidity management in the context of the introduction of the LCR ratio in Ukraine(2022-06-14) Dziamulych, Mykola; Hrytsenko, Kostiantyn; Krupka, Ihor; Vyshyvana, Bohdana; Teslia, Sofia; Tereshko, Oleksandra; Fadyeyeva, IrynaThe article considers the specifics of the introduction of the liquidity coverage ratio in the practice of commercial banks of Ukraine. The practice of liquidity regulation in crisis situations in the financial markets has shown that the old liquidity standards N4 and N5 do not fully meet the need to ensure the stability of commercial banks. At the same time, the application of the liquidity coverage ratio (LCR) to regulate liquidity, provides sufficient financial stability of banks by preventing and reducing liquidity risk. This requires additional research on the peculiarities of the transformation of approaches to bank liquidity management when changing mandatory liquidity standards. The peculiarities of changing the liquidity management tools under the application of the LCR standard are determined. At the same time, the introduction of the LCR standard not only contributes to the overall improvement of the bank's liquidity management efficiency, but also to the overall stability of the banking system.Item type:Наукова стаття, Forecasting of economic indicators of agricultural enterprises activity in the system of ensuring their management on the basis of sustainable development: a case study of Ukraine(2022-03-22) Dziamulych, Mykola; Kulinich, Tetiana; Shmatkovska, Tetiana; Moskovchuk, Alla; Rogach, Svitlana; Prosovych, Olha; Talakh, ValentynThe article proved that the application of the «AGMEMOD–Ukraine» model allowed conduct forecasting the development indicators of agricultural producers in the context of sustainable rural development, namely: yield, gross harvest and sown areas of major crops, changes in demographic indicators on the basic and optimistic forecast, the results of which allow competitive strategies, the implementation of which will increase the volume of sales, profits, market share, penetration into a new market segment, etc. It is considered that the use of the model «AGMEMOD–Ukraine», which covers the multicriteria measurement of functional components of agricultural producers, provides an opportunity to analyze and predict not only key competitive advantages but also secondary characteristics, which together have a significant impact on solving problems of strategic management of economic efficiency and competitiveness of agricultural enterprises in Ukraine. According to the results of the study, there were substantiated in the article the main strategic goals and priority areas for the development of agricultural producers.Item type:Наукова стаття, Realities and prospects of managing the development of agricultural business in Ukraine(2023-12-22) Shmatkovska, Tetiana; Agres, Oksana; Luchechko, Yurii; Korobchuk, Liudmyla; Naumenko, Nataliia; Voichuk, Maksym; Dziamulych, MykolaThe world`s food security largely depends on the stability of agri-business worldwide, but mainly in the main producing countries of agri-food products. The purpose of the study is to determine the current realities and opportunities for the development of agrarian business in Ukraine in crisis conditions for the development of effective strategies and promising growth of the agrarian sector. Research methods: monographic, abstract-logical methods, method of analogies and comparisons, systematic approach, statistical and graphic methods. In the course of the study, it was determined that in 2022, a significant number of agricultural enterprises suffered losses as a result of the system challenges. The loss of 15-20% of cattle, pigs, and poultry, and the loss of production facilities and animal husbandry complexes led to a reduction in production in both the crop and animal husbandry sectors. The article highlights the exogenous and endogenous risks of the functioning of the agricultural sector. Internal risks include loss of production and resource potential of the agricultural sector; the liquidation of a significant number of agrarian business enterprises; change of specialization due to significant economic losses; loss of part of the infrastructure facilities for storage and primary processing of agricultural products; difficulty in selling products to foreign markets. Exogenous risks are described, in particular, the reduction of investments in agricultural production, problems with the purchase and import of fertilizers and plant protection products into the country, and delays in the purchase of modern agricultural machinery. It was noted that the presence of the listed external risks will have a negative impact on the country`s economy and food security. The actions of the government for the sustainability of agrarian business are described, namely, the restoration of the export of agricultural products by sea, the development of alternative logistics networks for export, solving the problems of the seed company, and providing the possibility of special credit programs and tax holidays. The primary factors affecting the labor market, such as migration processes, changes in the structure of employment, digitization of the economy, and the introduction of the latest technologies, are considered. The consequences of military operations on the transformation of the labor market are analyzed. Current trends in the demand for new professions, demographic changes, and the impact of state regulatory policy on employment support are explored. The prospects for developing the labor market in the context of Ukraine's European integration and the potential for increasing the competitiveness of Ukrainian workers in the European labor market are determined. The necessity of enhancing the adaptability of the workforce to modern challenges and optimizing state employment programs to ensure sustainable economic development of the country in the future has been demonstrated.Item type:Наукова стаття, Profitability management of enterprises in the agricultural sector of Ukraine: analysis of development trends and modelling(2024-12-21) Dziamulych, Mykola; Shulha, Olha; Havadzyn, Nataliia; Sysoiev, Oleksii; Grytsyna, Oksana; Sholudko, Olsana; Rogach, SvitlanaThe article analyses trends in the formation of profitability of enterprises in the agricultural sector of Ukraine in the studied period, which made it possible to identify certain regularities and outline recommendations. The results of the economic-mathematical modelling of the return on equity of enterprises in the agricultural sector of Ukraine were developed and presented. Based on the evaluation and analysis of the developed models, recommendations are proposed for increasing the profitability of enterprises in the agricultural sector of Ukraine, taking into account modern challenges and prospects. In particular, several measures were proposed to help improve the profitability of Ukrainian farm producers` capital. Among them, it is advisable to highlight the reduction of the financial dependence of agricultural enterprises in terms of reducing the use of credit resources with a simultaneous increase in state support for the farm sector, as well as the further consideration of risk reduction factors during the formation of the commodity policy of agricultural enterprises.
