Determination of the quality of the chocolate mass prepared for temperating as a control object during the production of black chocolate
    (2023) Lukashuk, Vadym; Fedik, Lesia
The article examines the quality assessment of chocolate mass prepared for tempering as a control object in the production of dark chocolate. The authors emphasize that chocolate ranks second in popularity among confectionery products after flour-based goods. They highlight the importance of automation in chocolate manufacturing processes, focusing on the need for high-capacity equipment and continuous technological operations. The study underlines the role of quality control at the tempering stage to ensure product consistency and consumer satisfaction.

Dynamical modeling and state estimations of gasoline and ethanol impingement sprays in GDI systems using experimental and state space based approaches
(Morocco, 2025) ; ; ; Sobchuk, Dmytro; Dobrovolska, Lyubov; Fedik, Lesia
This study presents a comparative experimental and modeling analysis of the impingement spray characteristics of gasoline and ethanol using a high-pressure gasoline direct injection (GDI) injector. We develop Lyapunov-based approach to estimate key spray characteristics including rebound height with aid of MATLAB-based experimental data processing algorithms, both qualitative and quantitative assessments are provided, as well as a forecast of the state of these characteristics in future time intervals. We present a combined experimental and modeling approach for analyze the impingement spray behavior of gasoline and ethanol using a GDI injector taking into account base experimental results obtained in [3] where macroscopic properties were investigated via high-speed Schlieren imaging and Phase Doppler Particle Analysis (PDPA) across injection pressures ranging from 10 to 50 MPa. Data-driven modeling was supported by MATLABbased polynomial curve fitting and system identification techniques. Key findings reveal that gasoline exhibits superior spray penetration and atomization compared to ethanol, particularly at ultra-high pressures. This suggests that gasoline atomization could significantly enhance combustion efficiency and emissions reduction in GDI engines.

Analysis and Study of Rolling Parameters of Coils on an Inclined Plane
(Lublin, 2024-09-30) Humeniuk, Larysa; Fedik, Lesia; Didukh, Volodymyr; Humeniuk, Pavlo
In the article, the patterns of movement of rolls of long-fiber plant crops on an inclined plane are investigated. Experimental data on determining the rolling time of rolls on an inclined plane with angles of inclination of 25° and 10° to the horizon for rolls of different mass and radius are processed. An analysis and investigation of the patterns of movement of these rolls have been carried out, including angular velocity, velocity of roll centers, rotation angle, and kinetic energy of the rolls.
