Item type:Наукова стаття, Socio-Mental Health Support of Military and Civilians During War Time: Psychosocial Factors(2025-04-11) Frolov, Mykhailo; Petruk, Victoriia; Shkarlatiuk, Kateryna; Berezna, Iryna; Terpeliuk,VolodymyrThe article examines the problem of mental health support under martial law, which has become particularly relevant in the country over the past three years, as the state of war has significantly worsened the mental well-being of all categories of the population, especially the military. The study is based on the Ukrainian experience and examines the socio-psychological aspects of this support, as well as the state policy in this area. The purpose of the research was to study the effectiveness of governmentprograms and programs of NGOs aimed at improving and maintaining the mental health of military and civilians affected by military aggression. The study was conducted on the basis of empirical data obtained at the Center for Mental Health (Ivano-Frankivsk). The article uses the method of synthesis and analysis, descriptive method, empirical (survey method) and static methods. The study outlines the concepts of mental health and psychological recovery as important factors in the sustainable development of society; describes the directions and specifics of the work of the newly established mental health centers in Ukraine, the forms and means of providing psychological assistance to the military and the population affected by military operations; and conducts a survey of the military on the effectiveness of psychological assistance received in these centers. The psychological state of the respondents interviewed at the mental health center indicates that they are experiencing different levels of stress and have feelings of fear, lack of self-confidence, lack of understanding of the dynamism of the situation, a decrease in vital energy spent on constant worries, and difficulty in adaptation processes. The majority of people seeking psychological support experience a sense of loss (loss of loved ones, home, social connections, work, hobbies, etc.), which significantly worsens the overall picture of traumatic stress and leads to depression.Item type:Наукова стаття, Social Issues Of Modernity And Their Impact On Socio-Psychological Health In The Community(2024) Cherneta, Svitlana; Zhuk, Oksana; Savchuk, Nadiia; Babii, Mykola; Bielkina-Kovalchuk, OlenaAbstract: In today's dynamic world, the issue of psychological well-being becomes highly relevant, as it directly affects the life quality of individuals and the effectiveness of their interaction with the social environment. Rapid social changes, economic instability, and globalization processes create additional challenges for mental health. They emphasize the importance of an adequate societal response to these challenges. The article presents a comprehensive analysis of the factors affecting mental health, including the role of socio-economic inequality, educational level, social support, and spirituality. It has been found that higher income inequality correlates with a higher proportion of mental illnesses. At the same time, an increase in education contributes to psychological resilience. The importance of social ties and spiritual practices proved to be essential, especially in the context of their ability to reduce stress and increase emotional well-being. The research findings emphasize the need for a comprehensive approach to mental health support, including consideration of socio-economic, educational, and cultural factors. The authors recommend expanding the social support network and taking into account individual spiritual needs in psychotherapy and health care. Further research directions include studying the impact of globalization on psychological well-being and developing culturally sensitive methods of psychological support. This article contributes to a deeper understanding of the complex interrelationships that shape psychological well-being and provides practical recommendations for supporting mental health in a broader societal context. Based on the limitations this study identified, further research should focus on a detailed analysis of individual adaptation and resilience strategies in the context of social and economic changes.Item type:Матеріали конференцій, Regression of professional capabilities of a teacher in a modern ukrainian school: century-yage trends(United Kingdom : World of Conferences, 2024-02-22) Бабій, Микола ФедоровичProfessional-emotional burnout syndrome is an illness that, unfortunately, is not always paid attention to. Teachers often do not consider it necessary to sound the alarm. They think that this will pass, they just have to put in a little more effort, “stress”, and finally finish the volume that has accumulated, despite overwork and mental decline. And this is their main mistake. The stressful nature of the professional activities of teaching staff negatively affects their mental states, which leads to a number of negative socio-psychological consequences in the professional sphere. These include decreased job satisfaction, deterioration of the socio-psychological climate in the team, and professional exhaustion. Subsequently, interest in one’s work and one’s responsibilities regresses, and under such circumstances one cannot even think about the productivity of a teacher’s work.
