    Digital psychological support for students under martial law using a chatbot, as an analog of signal filtering in communication systems

    The article analyses modern approaches to the creation of chatbots and their use in the field of psychology and education. The main problems that arise in this area are identified, in particular, the need to ensure confidentiality, adaptation to the emotional state of users and integration with external information systems. A prototype of a chatbot for psychological support of higher education students has been created. The use of the GPT model is proposed to ensure the accuracy and adaptability of interaction. The OpenAI platform with the MyGPTs function was chosen, which allowed the chatbot to be adapted to the needs of users by downloading methodological materials and instructions. The chatbot was tested on real-life scenarios. Chatbot functions as a signal filter-similar to physical filters in communication systems. A survey among higher education students confirmed that the developed bot meets the requirements of modern digital solutions in psychological support, provides prompt feedback and creates a sense of emotional support. The results of the study can serve as a basis for further improvement of the chatbot and integration of additional features such as voice responses and interactive exercises.

    Design and Organization of Assessment Using the MOODLE

    Modern approaches to assessing students’ learning achievements, in particular John Biggs’ Constructive Alignment Theory, are considered. The main elements underlying the design of the assessment system are highlighted. These are the expected learning outcomes, assessment criteria, assessment method, assessment scores, reflection. A functional diagram of the assessment organisation in the Moodle learning environment has been developed. The interrelationships of the scheme elements and the algorithm of its implementation at Lutsk National Technical University are established. The effectiveness and validity of the developed assessment system is demonstrated through the results of student assessment in the study of chemical disciplines. Assessment results show a slight deviation (no more than 5%) of the generalised results at each stage of the evaluation. The average reduced score was 76.28 (current control), 74.23 (module control), 75.08 (exam), 75.73 (final grade). This stability is proof of the balance of the developed evaluation system.

    Blended Learning with MOOCs: An Example of Use in the Training of Computer Science Students

    The article analyzes the results of using of MOOC as elements of blended learning in the 2023–2024 academic year at Lutsk National Technical University (LNTU) (Ukraine). A combination of online learning in MOOCs and face-to-face learning was used. Quantitative data from participation logs (246 students) and survey questionnaires (190 students) were analyzed. 62.0% of students chose courses on Udemy (23.0% successfully completed), 38.0% on Coursera (65.0% successfully completed). The main motivations of the students were to gain new knowledge, experience and skills development. Our research has shown that the use of specialised courses on the open educational platforms Coursera and Udemy are approximately equally effective in improving students’ learning outcomes, promoting self-education skills and lifelong learning strategies.

    Specified Parameters in Designing Porous Materials Using Magnetic Nanotechnologies

    The research is devoted to solving the problem of regulating the porosity parameters during the manufacturing process under magnetic field conditions. The process of synthesizing magnetic nanocomponents based on a mixture of divalent and trivalent iron oxides was given. The use of nanocomponents allowed for improving the conditions for creating porous materials. A device with adjustable magnetic induction was developed to produce porous materials in a magnetic field. The study of the porous material’s structure with the nanopowder content in the magnetic field conditions showed a clear dependence of the structure on the magnetic parameters. When the content of nanocomponents increased to 0.3 %, and the magnetic field induction increased to 2.5 mT, the dispersion of pore sizes decreased by 8–10 times, the density of pores – increased by 15–20 times, and the average diameter of pores – decreased by 12–15 times. Mathematical dependencies that determine the porosity parameters for different values of the magnetic nanopowder content and the level of magnetic induction in the ring electromagnet were proposed. The obtained dependencies allowed for assigning the level of magnetic technological parameters to ensure the given porosity parameters. The developed methods of magnetic technology for creating porous materials can increase the quality and ensure the required porosity level.

    Inquiry-Based Learning in the Study of Chemical Disciplines by Food Technologies Students

    Inquiry-based learning, IBL is analyzed as an educational strategy in which students use research methods and practices It is noted that the advantages of IBL are the development of curiosity and critical thinking, as well as active, conscious and deep learning. The method of conducting laboratory classes in biochemistry for students of specialty 181 Food technologies is given. The purpose of the research project “Milk” is to provide a comprehensive biochemical assessment of milk as a valuable food product and to establish criteria for assessing its quality. The application of the IBL strategy allows you to catch up, deepen, expand and combine competencies in the main chemical disciplines. The implementation of IBL requires significant methodological efforts on the part of the teacher and a certain level of research skills and abilities of students. Therefore, it is obvious that this technique will be effective in the final classes of disciplines or in integrated courses. The develop ment of thinking strategies, which are the essence of research practice, will be extremely useful in the performance of qualification work.

    Principles of Open Science in the Activities of a Technical University.

    The purpose of the article is to analyse and present the use of Open Science principles and their implementation in the activities of Lutsk National Technical University. Methodology. The main provisions of the Open Science concept and their implementation in European and Ukrainian official documents are analysed. It has been found that at Lutsk National Technical University (LNTU) the principles of Open Science are implemented in three main areas: in the educational process; in research activities; in informal promotion among students and other stakeholders. As a result, the authors found that participation in international projects, in particular ERASMUS+, causes changes in educational and scientific activities towards the creation of a fair and competitive educational space. New disciplines, such as Open Scientific Foundations and Information Management Practice, have been introduced into the educational process of masters and postgraduate students. The implementation of the policy of openness of scientific research is mainly limited to open publications in scientific journals and public discussion of research results at conferences and seminars. Informal trainings on academic integrity and Open Science involving students and teachers help to promote the principles of Open Science. The effectiveness of the training for LNTU students has been experimentally established. After the training, most students understood the basic principles of Open Science and were able to give examples of their use at LNTU, but they are not yet ready to apply them in their first scientific or academic achievements. Practical implications. These examples of implementation of Open Science principles in educational and scientific activities of LNTU illustrate an important vector of development of the technical university towards joining the European higher education area. At the same time, the authors came to the conclusion that it is necessary to conduct a broad information campaign among research and teaching staff for their further implementation.

    Interdisciplinary approach in pedagogical research: methodological foundations, challenges and prospects.

    У статті досліджується інтердисциплінарний підхід як методологічна основа сучасних педагогічних досліджень. Актуальність теми зумовлена складністю освітніх явищ, що виникають на перетині когнітивних, соціокультурних, психологічних та технологічних чинників. Традиційні дисциплінарні рамки дедалі менше відповідають викликам цифровізації, глобалізації та інтенсифікації знаннєвих трансформацій в освіті. Інтердисциплінарність розглядається як відповідь на необхідність комплексного аналізу та оновлення наукових підходів у педагогіці. Метою статті є аналіз теоретичних і філософських засад інтердисциплінарності, її відмінності від мульти- та трансдисциплінарності, а також виявлення потенціалу для інтеграції педагогіки з психологією, соціологією, когнітивістикою та інформаційними технологіями. Особливу увагу приділено формуванню дослідницької культури у магістрантів спеціальності «Професійна освіта (цифрові технології)», розвитку їхнього критичного мислення й епістемологічної рефлексії. У статті розкрито методологічні принципи інтердисциплінарного дослідження – відкритість, інтеграція, рефлексивність, емерджентність, контекстуальність і транспарентність. Проаналізовано філософські основи інтердисциплінарного мислення, зокрема постнекласичну раціональність, конструктивізм, системний підхід. Розглянуто типові виклики: епістемологічна несумісність дисциплін, методологічна недостатність підготовки дослідників, інституційні бар’єри та етичні дилеми. Наведено прикладні аспекти використання інтердисциплінарних методів у магістерських дослідженнях здобувачів освіти спеціальності А5.39 «Професійна освіта (цифрові технології)». Стаття також акцентує на потребі формування дослідницької культури молодих дослідників, здатних до міжгалузевої співпраці, критичного мислення та творчої адаптації до нових наукових умов. Робиться висновок, що інтердисциплінарність є не лише інструментом наукового аналізу, а й світоглядною позицією, необхідною для трансформації освітньої реальності в умовах сучасного світу.
